I looked into before. First the coverage areas suck. Second look at there cost per minute of airtime, sucks even worse.

They use Sprint so if Sprint sucks in your area then stay away.

I already bought it. 2 year contract and it's only $20 more a month to get it...

Sounds pretty cool but I can find all of that info by turning on my XM to 140 or 142.

or 141 or 143...
I am a sports freak, but how bad do you need to know a sports story or score that you can't wait to get to your computer/TV/XM?
Plus, something tells me the reception sucks...

20 bucks a month for fucking ESPN??? Wow... that is NOT a good investment. I can go a few hours without knowing all the scores. Damn.

You can get every score off your normal phones internet through ESPN anyway. I just don't see the point, but like anything else if you think that you are going to like it more power to you. It is your money spend it on what you want.

I saw these commercials for the mobile espn during the superbowl and i though for sure it was going to be a "Get your goddamn head out of your cellphone, there is a lot going on around you that you are missing..." That is what i got out of the commercial.

i thought about getting it... i held the phone in my hands for a few minutes and i figured, if i am going to scroll through and look for scores in a phone i can do 3 things:
1. use a computer and look up what i want that way.
2. look at the scrolling text on my myfi of the scores i want to see.
3. watch sportscenter since it is on 15 times a day, and espn news which repeats the same half hour segment for 12 hour blocks at a time.
i think its a cool idea in theory but it is way to expensive when you compare it to "the network." if a year from now, it is still around and the coverage areas become a little stronger, who knows?

I wouldn't get it. There was some article that came out over the summer that said it barely had any people buying it. Less than 100,000 I know for sure.

As of December 31st, it will no longer be in business...
I liked it... But now, I'll just need to save money for a Treo.
