Today at noon, New Japan Pro Wrestling President Simon Inoki arrived in Stamford, CT, to meet with WWE Officials. WWE.com will have more details on Inoki's meeting with WWE as soon as they become available.

Brock Lesnar is not actually under contract to New Japan so it might not be about him.

I believe it is. Like you said, Lesnar isn't under contract with New Japan, but if memory serves me right, he is under contract with Antonio Inoki. Antonio has had some financial trouble lately, so I think Simon's just trying to help his relative out.

There is also some speculation that they'll be talking about distribution of the NJPW tapes in the US. Which could mean he's striking a deal to have the WWE distribute dvds, which could also lead to a working talent exchange.

Yeah he is. It's all quite incestuous actually. Brock is the IWGP Heavyweight Champ. Currently he is ranked #3 in the NWA Heavyweight Rankings.. and today, Simon Inoki shows up at WWE HQ. But as I type this, any mention of the meeting has been removed from the site... WTF??
