Hopefully Ant went into the city and got himself a hotel room last night so he doesn't have to commute.

Nope. His Accu Weather 8000 predicted a dusting to 3 inches.

We can feel the affects way out here. It barely got to 70 degrees yesterday.
I think we got about 15 inches so far. Its still lightly falling. I'd take pictures but my camera is in the garage and I am not walking out there to get it.

Figures, where 12" snowfalls are the norm here, we haven't had any snowfall over 5" this winter. Snows every other day or so, but no big storms this year.
Damn East Coast thieves. Give us our snowstorms back!

Not really a heavy snow, more the powdery type. I am taking a break from shoveling. There is a shit load of it out there, but not to heavy.

On Long Island, the snow is really light. The only part that was heavy was where the snow plow pushed show into my already shoveled driveway.

I guess that attitude would depend on more factors than the snow. If my choices were to live in the same city that my parents moved to (Charlotte) or deal with the snow, all I can say is "let it snow, let it snow, let it snow".
The snow is deep here in Long Island. The plows haven't done anything down my street yet. Snow in New York is not fun.

I love living on a road with a Firehouse and Ambulance station. Road always plowed. Lucky for me most of wind was coming out of the north. I have 2 story house next to mine. So most of the snow just went over into my neighbors yard. I may have gotten a even 6 inch layer. with some massive drifts on my south fence going all the way to the 6 foot mark and over. Now my neighbor has to have atleast a steady 2 foot or more cover. He got all my drifting snow I am laughing about 9 mexicans live there..fuck'em.

UGH! I hate you for that!!! I'm from California, I'm not SUPPOSED TO have to deal with 8 inches of snow (I know all you in NY could really give a shit:icon_wink ).....

Turbo Dan, I get sushi right down the corner from you. I'm a fancy man, aint I. We got about 14 or 15 inches down here in Mid Jersey. Just moved from Yonkers 2 weeks back, the driveway there is uner 14 feet of snow thanks to the drifts. FUCK YOU OLD LANDLORD, HAHAHAHAHA!

Watched my ten-year old niece jump off a boulder in the back yard and disappear under the snow. When she stood up, the snow was up to her hips.
