Why do the major sports that put on halftime shows for all-star games or finals bother getting such acts... Cater to your audience. The last thing many of us want to see is the backstreet boys perform anywhere, let alone a football game. As much as I want to bang them, I don't really care to see destiny's child or mariah carey perform during anything the NBA does... Why Why WHY??? When the WNBA finals take place, that's where those acts belong. I will say that i'm glad the NFL in the last few years has put on U2, McCartney, and the Stones. I'll take those acts over headset microphone wearing performers...

As for the game itself, i'm glad thats the last of that announce team i'll ever have to listen to (except for theismann).

Michael Vick is possibly the most overrated athlete in ANY sport, not just football. When are people going to wake up and realize that he sucks?

They wont. The media LOVES him. He makes me so mad. After he made that afformentioned pass to Larry Fitz, where he threw the ball straight up in the air like a punt and he got lucky, one of the AWFUL Sunday Night announcers actually said, "Those are the throws he's learning to make as he gets more experience" and I dont want to hear, "well he wins games, the Falcons are 31-17 with him" (his record is something like that) because they would do just as good, if not better with Matt Schaub behind Center. I really hope Schaub gets a job somewhere else, because I really think he could be a starter and it'd be funny if when Vick gets hurt AGAIN if they didnt have a good backup.

As for McNair, he shouldnt have been there, but he was a reserve for Brady, plus it's probably his last season, he deserves one more trip to Hawaii....either that or they just wanted someone from the Titans on the team and they have no one else close...Ben definitley should have been in though.

You're correct that McNair shouldn't have gone ahead of Roethlishburger, although I think it may have been tough for him to get there with all his post SB obligations. For all we know, he was asked and declined. It's a shame Brady and Plummer bailed. The AFC defense and the rest of the offense deserved better than the QB's gave them. If I was them, I'd be asking Peyton to fork over the $20,000 he cost each of them.

Still, McNair did deserve to be there ahead of Michael Vick. Among starters, McNair was the the 17th rated passer, Vick 23rd. Both behind such luminaries as Kelly Holcomb and Brad Johnson. If you're scraping that low for your 'All Star' QB's, you have to ask if the game should even be played. I was in Hawaii and had tickets for the game, but bailed as soon as I found out Plummer and Brady were sitting. Doesn't sound like I missed much.

Thank you, they have wanted to put him in the Hall of Fame since he was drafted. He has done nothing in the NFL. He has athletic ability, nothing more.

If Antwaan Randle-El would have demanded that he stay at QB coming out of college I think he would have been a better QB then Vick will ever be. Theyre pretty much the same guy, extremly fast, strong arm, no grasp of the QB position or ability to read defense. He's not a NFL QB and he should have been humble enough to realize that. Thats why Randle-El has a ring, and Vick just sells some jerseys.
