I was actually flying on 9/11/01.

My flight from NYC to Orlando left LGA at 8am I even took pictures of the Towers as we circled over the Bronx and Manhattan after taking off since I work 5 blocks away from them.

Half way down the flight attendants stopped serving shit and would constantly go in and out of the cock pit with this plastic look on their faces.

The pilot mentioned that we’ll have to land in Jacksonville but we actually landed in Savannah, GA.

We still didn’t know what had happened so when the pilot mentioned that we landed in Savannah this Spanish lady on board started crying because she thought he said Havana (Cuba)…we laughed and had to calm her down.
