(Hopefully this doesnt get moved to the XM page)
If you get a myfi, do you have to pay for a second account, or does it fall under your current subscription? Like I have the Roady in my car, but I want the portable as well in case I decide to roller blade around central park.
I saw the unit price for it and Im damn close to gettin it, but not if I have to pay for a whole fuckin second account. Anybody know how this works?

You can either get a second account, or you can transfer your existing sub onto the MyFi and cancel the Roady. The MyFi has a car and home kit in the box with it, so its no loss at all. Thats exactly what I did when I got my MyFi.

Yea, there's nothing you can't do with the MyFi that you could do with the roady anyway.

Why not have two radios, we have two Myfis and a Roady2. XM is well worth the money!

How about the FM transmitter strength on the MyFi? I have my Roady2 in my apartment and listen to radio/stereo/headphones throughout. Is the range comparable? Can you listen to the MyFi inside (within reason)?

Isn't there some new card that you can use to
transfer your subscription from radio to radio?
I heard o&A mention it, what is the deal?

Just call them. I did it at 3AM on the phone, no muss or fuss needed. Gave them my account info and new radio ID and they swapped it no problem.

Yeah, but the problem there is cost. MyFi's are down to about $100, while the new units are going to be $300-400.

The new systems come without the car kit...that's an extra $70.00
I don't use the car kit that much BUT I love knowing I have it at my disposal.
