He also had big bouncing titties and ate more taco than you can shake a stick at! Wait I might be comfusing commercials........

I love you complaining fucks. We get one month to boast about are three contributions to American culture (big cocks for interracial porn, some shit with the peanut and Oprah) and someone has to complain about it. Come on, really, how many Lingerie Bowl ads can you take. At least these ads are current, but when they play them in March, I'll understand your complaint.

We should thank George Washington Caver because we would "NEVER" have peanuts and ink!!! Imagine us having the automobile, air craft, space craft, and the internet but not peanuts and ink.

Zantrex 3 just has fast-paced techno and says Zantrex 3 six times in the commerical and appearently that is supposed to make me want to buy it. Wow I hate commericals.

black history month is counterproductive to civil rights, and should be done away with. it creates a mental separation between black history and white history, as well as pointing out that we should only celebrate it for 28 days.
plus we are not celebrating the acheivements of haitians, and cubans, and dominicans who are black. it stinks and i don't like it

In my mind, the benefit of black history month is that it reminds black youth that not everything in this world was invented/discovered by white people.

As for the commercial airing too much, whatever. Mr. Groper and the Lingerie Bowl are certainly played more than the black history month spot.

that should go without saying

and if for some strange reason it doesn't, it should be up to black parents to teach their children what should already be obvious. From what I understand, the lack of responsible parenting is a crisis in the black community... this doesn't help any

that said, I don't really care if I have to sit through the BHM spots.

Funny thing about Black History month is that it's always the same people they talk about. What about Big E Smalls and Tupac?
BTW, I saw a trailer for a movie called "Confederate States Of America". Was probably the funniest thing I've seen in awhile. It's what it would be like if the South won the Civil War. They are selling slaves on a QVC type channel plus they talk about if your slave gets "uppity". I couldn't believe it!!

I think the bigger question is, if there is a thread railing against said ads, does that demonstrate that perhaps... perhaps the desired audience is being missed. Like running Girls Gone Wild ads during daytime soaps.

Because of the word "BLACK". Most of us whites don't look at color and "WE" or "WHITE" invented this or that. It not about the color of the person who invented it.

In my mind, the benefit of black history month is that it reminds black youth that not everything in this world was invented/discovered by white people.

Taking this as a true statement, then why would it be considered "racist" if there was a White History Month, or a Miss White America pagent et al? Why is it not considered racist for a black to call another black the N word, yet is is considered racist for a white person to do so?

Hypocritical thinking, on the part of black americans, if you ask me.

well put sir well put. shit like this separates the races. and it was probably invented by tree hugging white liberal hippees!!! i don't care what color a person is. is all about how you act i know plenty of white ....... or wiggers. chris rock said it best i love black people but i hate .......!! but to most liberal tree huggers that's a racist statement. not when chris rock said it, but when i said it right now.

Come on stop the bitching. Can't we all just get along. Now go on and ask yourself, "Have you a hugged a Negro today?"

Now go out and make a contribution to the United Negro College Fund. Remember, a mind is a terrible thing to waste. Had G. W. Carver wasted his, we wouldn't have any Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.

I understand your point, but would ask you to consider the perspective of a minority. When you are different from other people, it is nice to see people like yourself doing great things.

Although you're right it's not about the color of the person that invents or discovers something, I think Vivien Thomas might argue the point a bit.

It's not easy to accept someone else getting credit for something you did simply because you're not white.

I'm using the Howard Stern version of self-congratulations. If Kevin Smith is on the phone after being called by Gary, he claims Kevin called; if Black History Month is over, I'm accepting credit for the commercials ending.
