Now it's being confirmed by Jason Cole of the Miami Herald. Check out the news post in the NFL Headlines section:

Haha. What a dumbass. How can someone be so stupid? He should have known that they would be looking at him closely. I think they should just throw him out of the league and be done with him.

Guess he's going to "retire" again.

Not a surprise...the only reason he came back in the first place was so that he would not have to pay back his bonus.

And to think teams like the Broncos were seriously thinking about trading for him. All that talent wasted....ponderous!

I think it is just silly someone can't play because they smoke a little pot. If anything, it would make them lazy and they would not train as much.

I like pot, don't see a problem with players smoking it, etc. etc. But how fucking stupid do you have to be to give up a multi-million $ career where you have a city full of fans, just for pot? It's not even all that interesting of a drug.

As a lifelong finsfan I was devastated last year when ricky decided to "retire" so close to the start of training camp. I was unsure whether I wanted to have him back, and was surprised at how well he performed this year after all that time off. His performance had won back many of the fans, and I have been torn as to whether we should keep him as part of a one-two puch with ronnie brown, or try to trade him as part of a deal to get us a decent QB in FA. This latest news just has me shaking my head. As a long time pot smoker myself Ive felt that I've always had some understanding for Ricky, with his social anxiety disorder as well, which he says the weed helps him with, but damn.

PS: I also have heard that Ricky is in India, and just missed a test, which would count as a failed test, but not a positive test. In which case he should be able to win his appeal, if it was a random test he can't be blamed for being on vacation.

C'mon, like we didnt see this coming. WHat a shame, if I was built like that I'd be playing a game instead of running from the NARCS.

I guess we can debate the weed thing all day long (gee, I sure see a lot of drug commercials on TV...why are those legal but pot is not?) but if the industry you work in has a rule, stupid or not, you have to follow it. No one is making him play in the NFL, it was his choice.

Having said when the Miami Dolphins gave him another chance when by rights (and logically) they should have just made him pay back his bonus. He should done everything possible to thank his team and stay off the chronic. Instead he fails another test.

Thus, he is a retard.

"I'll bet my life he's not smoking marijuana," she told the Post on Sunday. "He's so particular about what he puts in his body now. I would just be shocked. I just don't believe he's smoking weed."

"I'm thinking maybe it was one of his [legal] supplements for his yoga school. I really just don't believe he's smoking weed."Yoga school? What are you, queer?"whaa"

well he didn't miss that test....that story is basically just a little more fleshed out version of the earlier one. I wonder if he's going to go with the lame Olympic excuse of "It's my Propecia!!"

More specifically, Ricky studies Ayruveda, a wholistic system of medicine and healing that originated in India over 5000 years ago. Thats why he is reportedly in India right now.
