That is a good observation. As a musician trying to get noticed I know that you can't have that bitter attitude.

Hey Odetta, guess what. Life isn't fair. It isn't always the best musicians who get big. It's not always the most tallented. Unfortunately it isn't always the most dedicated either.

Sometimes, being in the right place, the right look or any other kind of circumstance will get you over. And just because they know 3 cords doesn't mean they don't have song writing and arrangement abilities. Look at AC/DC. Amazing band, great musicians and more importantly it seems, great song writers. Until they hit the solos I don't hear anything extremely difficult to play, but AC/DC rocks your fucking mother 24/7.

Bottom line, Odetta sounds like a bitter underground musician who judges people as worthy or not worthy on their way up the charts.

Fuck you Odetta.

There hasn't been one commercial on 202 that didn't get on my fucking nerves big time. They all are obnoxious and hacky, and I didn't expect to get commercials when I signed up. I seriously thought they would just play stand ups or something in between the breaks. What's next, Horny Goat Weed Blast and Stacker 432?

And the funny thing about that Odetta commercial is she STINKS as a musician. She is fucking attrocious. The only people who like her are 70 year old black couples who have no friends and pretentious college students who try to pretend that they aren't cornfed white kids.
