I used to live across the street from a HUGE Temple in New Brunswick. On the jewish holy days, they used to park IN my driveway. Nothing funnier than having a knock at the door an hour later asking about their car and pointing at the sign on my porch saying "Parking for residents only" and telling them that it was towed.

The Muslims at the mosque across the street from my mom park in front of the drive way, double park, and even attempt to park AROUND the corner. The police deptartment would have a field day ticketing all the cars and could make a ton of cash. Nope, they would much rather sit at the restaurant around the corner for lunch. The muslims can't read English, so they can't understand the sign that says, "No parking, two driveways." How dare I assume that they can read, and just don't give a fuck.

Find out what towing company has a contract with your town. You can call them directly and have the cars towed.

I never experienced a problem. In my experience, the company is more than willing to get the ticket written when they are going to make a few hundred by towing the car.

Not a good solution.

Sure, you have the benefit of knowing that this asshole is going to have a flat tire some time down the road. What you will NOT have is tied the fact that they've parked in your driveway/blocked you in and that was the cause of the unfortunate flat tire.

If you do somethig to them that lets them know exactly how unacceptable it is to park where they did, it will eventually sink in to their thick skull that they sholdn't do that.

The longer they are exposed to sunlight, the harder they are to remove. Everybody should keep a glovebox full of 'em.

Just do it on the door handle. Park a few spots away & watch as the fun begins as they try to open a nice mucus covered door handle.

SACRAMENTO - A Del Paso Heights man unwittingly helped detain robbers Wednesday by taking the keys from the getaway car because it was blocking his driveway, authorities said.

Police received a report about 10 p.m. of four armed men robbing Four Oaks Market, at 2140 Grand Ave. As officers arrived, the masked gunmen split up and fled from the convenience store, Sgt. Terrell Marshall said.

Around the corner, officers spotted two men sitting in a parked Hyundai. The area resident had earlier taken the keys out of the ignition and called police, angry that his driveway was blocked, Marshall said.
Two other suspects were arrested in the area.

Benoise Davis Wade, Mike Stone and Johanis Clinton Calhoun, all 20, and Kevin Ford, 19, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy, Marshall said.

My fiance used to live in a townhouse, and the association that ran the place had a rule in the bylaws or whatver that the parking lots were not for any commercial vehicles. If you had a work van that your company let you take home, for example, you were shit out of luck. Anyhow, there was this Russian guy who worked for FedEx. They didn't ever say a fucking word to him. Trust me, these association people were hard-core assholes. They busted balls constantly about any little thing.

But they left this guy alone, because they were afraid due to rumors that he was "connected" to the Russian mafia which is pretty big in Philly. He parked this BIG FedEx truck there every night after work and it was there all weekend. I mean, it was a box-truck. It was somewhat like this one.
