I have cracked a windowpane from the rumbling already.

If I ever get a place with a basement again, I am going to try to build a sub in the basement, that uses the whole basement as the enclosure, with a port cut into the floor of mys listening room.

I listen to a lot of music every day (4-5 CDs each day) so my system is primarily for 2-channel audio. Home theatre is a secondary function.

Bose has great marketing. They are not the company Amar Bose started in the 1960's. The thing they don't want you to know is that the "equalizer" that goes with their $1,500 flagship 901's is merely a box that provides a 12 decibel treble boost and 18 decibel bass boost.
