I watch "The Sure Thing" with John Cusack from 1985 when I want to chill. "My Cousin Vinny," and "The Man Who Came to Dinner" from the 1940's does it for me too, as does any of the "Thin Man" movies with William Powell and Myrna Loy. Everyone has the Lucky Strikes guy voices in these.

I am so glad Ronnie likes Payback, I thought I was the only one who digged that movie. It wasn't the greatest movie ever made but it was just cool. It's one of those flat out cool movies.
Vacation and Christmas Vacation are two great comedies.
The Punisher sucked balls.
I still haven't seen Requiem for a Dream. Good???? I consider it the last great movie to ever be released. I know I've been praising it over on the Movies forum because I saw it recently but it really is just wow. Not uplifting but just wow.

A good revenge movie is, believe it or not, "An Innocent Man" with Tom Selleck. He plays a guy who goes to jail for three years because some corrupt cops shoot him by mistake, and plant drugs on him. How he gets back at them is great.
"The Count of Monte Christo," is another satisfying revenge flick.

Poltergiest theme scarier than Tubular Bells.
One of the scariest scenes in movie history is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Dinner Scene. That's the type of shit that can only come with real dark, disturbing bullshit. Once you through an actress or a studio in there, you cannot replicate anything close to it.

First, the South did not have the manpower to hold big areas of territory in the North.
Lincoln's freeing the slaves was to throw the South into chaos.
The goal of the South was to drive the North out, so they could secede.
The likely time and area the South could have won would have occurred if Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson had not been killed at Chancellorsville in 1862, and could have finished the brilliant encircling move during that battle, and crushed most of the Army of the Potomac right then and there.

From his writings, Lincoln hoped that Southern Blacks getting the message that they were "free" would cause them to drop what they were doing, and the Southern Whites would not have a viable workforce, because too many men were under arms.

Fun "what if" books about the South winning:
"Bring the Jubilee" Ward Moore (no Sci-fi element, all historically accurate)
"Guns of the South" by Harry Turtledove (White supremacists from the future give the South AK-47's in 1864)
"How Few Remain" by Turtledove (the second Civil War, in 1881)
Turtledove also wrote a series where WW I is fought on US soil, where the CSA, allied with England and France, fights the USA, who is allied with Germany.
He is contiuing the series with a WW II, where a Hitler-type leader rises to power in the CSA, and begins putting Blacks in concentration camps.

But those hundreds of thousands of years is nothing compared to an overbearing mother and a massive insecurity complex that will haunt you to your pathetic death after an equally insignificant life.
That being said, being tied down and whipped isn't necessarily the worst thing to happen to a guy.
Go somewhere nobody knows you and ACT like you are confident, like you are playing a role. Eventually, you will be confident.
Believe me, I had a browbeating mother who told me I did everything wrong. Now I just laugh at it.
Edit:
Just wait until YOU are doing the tying down and whipping. You'll know what "fun" is then.

You know, these celebs get paid to be in the public eye right? With all the complaints about crowded jails and things like that, why not fine the shit out of celebs when they fuck up to put some of that public money back in to the system. Hit them in the wallet to knock them down to our level and see how they do.

It's not too much work. Besides, who DOESN'T want to think about the things you will do with your Submissive the next time you see her? You can think about all of the new things you will do, the games you can play, and so on.
Wanting an equal is not gay at at all. Women want men that listen to what they have to say, and can have a conversation with.
The reason so many women go for the "bad boys" and guys who treat them like shit is because this warped pussy who thinks treating women like garbage is the closest thing to a true Alpha Male that they have known.

You can think about all of the new things you will do, the games you can play, and so on. That's the thing, I don't want the full Dominatrix/Mistress experience (well maybe once or twice) because it seems silly. Mostly because there's nothing I can see without a sense of humor so I probably would just start laughing since it's kind of a defense mechanism. But that's what I mean when I say I'd want an equal. I'd want a chick who I can sort of plans these things out with but when it comes times, she'll take the bull by the horn.

All the time.
I like the game-playing, teasing, name-calling, and the other stuff. It's fun play that makes things more intense. I still do things without the D/S element, but it's fun to me.
It's not for everybody, and there are many parts of the BDSM scene I find very silly or unpleasant (cutting, scat, blood play, adult baby, human furniture, asphyxiation), and I either laugh at it or just don't get it.

I'll tell you - he had that civil war douchebag writer on - prattling on about his nonsense of "the south winning anyway" - and all the other liberal crap.
there's ronnie - lapping it up. Then he plays the Chris Matthews soundbyte - and sneers - "there's your liberal media for ya". Oh, wow - Matthews actually said something true - and he's jumping up and down, trying to imply that the majority of the mainstream media *aren't* liberal weenies?
That link I posted proves hes wrong. But whatever - I'm not going to change his mind - but his show aggravates me more and more with his liberal snide remarks - his mocking immitation of Mark Levin the other day - yeah, I heard it.
His rants against Bill O'Reilly - again I say - thank God for Lil Jimmy and Anthony - (Opie is predominantly non-political - he's driven by his own sense of world domination) - or the whole "XM 202" experience would be a mess.

The thing I have the problem with is how can any American (whether liberal or conservative) who saw Nick Berg or Daniel Pearl get killed on Al-Jaziera TV and NOT be so galvanized as to want to support our troops 100%, demand that stories of US victories be as publicized as our defeats, and want our foes crushed utterly?
