I know WWE's tried to give this the PPV hype, but this card sucks. Anyway:

-I expect Mickie to turn on Trish to set up a Wrestlemania match
-Austin will win the contest and dish out some stunners (hopefully the Spirit Squad shows up during this and he just unloads on them)
-Boogeyman will beat Booker...they'll have a re-match at WM.
-Shawn Michaels will beat Shane McMahon but get destroyed after the match by some old WWE wrestler Vince brings back to take Shawn out of commission (my guess is Test...the rumor is he re-signed with the company)
-RAW wins the handicap match when Orton RKOs Mysterio and walks out on his team. Cena gets the pin and then immediately after catches a sledgehammer in the face from HHH

This is unrelated, but I was checking out Cena's myspace, and just looked at 3 random people in his top 8, yeap this pretty much sums up the guys fanbase.

Well, they theoretically are suppose to, but this is WWE land, so before it starts, they'll probably spend 10 minutes yelling at each other, then Austin will stun about five different people in the ring, and down about 10 beers on his own.

It certainly won't be in anyway legitimate.

It's JBL and Steve Austin, though, two of the best and funniest mic workers of all time. It has a shitload of potential to be great TV.

I was setting up Media Center to record it for me tonight and to my surprise, I find that the Quad Cities NBC affiliate isn't carrying SNME tonight. Instead, they have "The 6th Sense" scheduled. Luckily I also get the Chicago NBC station and they are carrying it.

Maybe there are still some bitter feelings over the XFL and its horrible ratings on Saturday nights? It sucks for the fans over in Middle Earth.

Hey, at least the first XFL game got great ratings. It got a 25.4 or somesuch.

the card for this looked ok on paper, but i am predictively disappointed. the ONLY salvation this program can have to make watching it instead of listening to black phillip's bitch management ( which i'm myfi'ing ) is if bret hart interferes in the street fight, which i doubt will happen because if they are planning a bret involvement they'll save it for mania. btw i called out neoisgod earlier in this thread before checking out the hard rock pics and, well, confirmed cena daisychain gang member.

Kyle

It wasn't bad for the first showing. I wished they'd have thrown a couple more matches in, but it was pretty obvious from the start they were in full Wrestlemania promotion mode.

I thought the Booker/Boogeyman stuff sucked a big dick--but then, it has from the beginning. The Foley/Edge segment was very good. From what I saw of the HBK/Shane match, that was another pretty good one, but my tape ran out before the match ended. Still, the suplex off the ladder from the ring to the tables on the floor was a great spot. It's too bad Shane's wife is expecting their baby right around WM, because that would have been an even better match on PPV. Shane never disappoints. Fuck, the guy even got an entertaining match out of Steve Blackman.

Overall, if it sells a few WM buys, it will be worth it, although the overnight ratings have it in the 3-4 range when they were hoping for 5-6. So, it looks like the next one they are contracted for will have them running 10-11pm instead of Primetime.

I'm tired of the McBlowjob Vince keeps giving himself and I am seriously sick of Montreal-LET IT GO VINCE! NO ONE CARES ANYMORE!

God, the guy has lost any semblence of reality he had left.

He can't let it go because it's the one thing he'll never live down, and because he knows what he did was pretty fucked up no matter how many different ways he tries to spin it. He'll keep going back to Montreal because he is constantly trying to rewrite history on it to make himself look like the sympathetic character, or to make it look like it was all part of the "evil Mr. McMahon" storyline and make Bret look like an unreasonable douchebag.

...that, or the whole thing really was a work all along, and we're about to see the climax of it at Wrestlemania. Odds of that are low, but never say never.

I just don't think he has it in him to allow an "angle" to play out that long. I mean, the guy "Ortoned" Edge just so the "King of Kings" could hob his knob a bit more at MAnia, rather than do what was right for business...but that's a whole other story.

Bret doesn't need any help doing that he is both and he proved it in Montreal...this isn't a legit sport, matches are pre-determined its not like anything is held against you for losing a match...the booker tells you to lose you fucking lose end of story, no bitching ' i don't wanna lose it in my home country' are you fucking kidding me? it wasn't even his hometown it was his home country who the fuck cares...he grew up in htis business and should know better and should have had the fucking respect to do the right thing.
