help! my ip is blocked

i'm trying to access a certain site, but i can't even get to the home page. i got there on another machine and it explained in the faq section that my ip could be blocked by peerguardian/ blocklist and it should be taken up w/ them in getting myself unblocked.

now i'm kind of stuck- i can't find out how to unblock myself and i figured this has had to have happened to someone else. anybody?

Use a proxy, or better yet find out why you were blocked.

You need to email the admin or a mod. It was happening to me here and I emailed a mod and they fixed it some way. Many people share the same ip depending on the isp.

i got blocked for keeping a bad ratio. i have a new account but can't access it b/c of the block on my ip. and i believe you have to have a static ip address in order to use their site. but i'm going to give the proxy a shot.

essentially yes. but mostly cuz i got a shit load of old stuff that no one would leech. live and learn.

but now i need a work around to access the site. can't find shit on peerguardian and how to get unblocked, and i'm still not certain how to use proxy server.
