I see the guy, like twice a year, I hate the beach, and my ex is going to be there and I don't want to see her stupid face.

Also, I would have to pay to stay at a hotel, and probably gice a gift on top of that.

Barton Fink is just a depressingly great film.

I can't believe someone just pitched Boondock Saints as one of the great films of all time. It's enjoyable enough, but the cult of that movie just makes my brain decay.

LiddyRules
04-05-2006, 01:37 PM
I think they're allowed to make it and should be allowed to make it. Rescue Me does it. And I don't care much for United93 but I want to see the Oliver Stone movie. And that will also be done with class and dignity. That's what these movies want to do. To HONOR the heroes, not to shatter them. Personally, I think our government shot down Flight93, we're not seeing it.

And, even though I'm kind of apathetic about everything (it's a mental disorder!!), I think we should have movies like this because people have forgotten. On 9/11/05, how much in memorium did you see about it? People might cry terrorists and people jump but for 9/11 itself, people have really forgotten about it. Maybe, in a bizarre way, it's good for these movies to come out.

Unfortunately, the terrorists have been changed to Spanish because otherwise Arabs would complain.

Tora Tora Tora came out in 1970s btw.

And yes, it is Clinton's fault. Everything is. Check the Current Events forum.

I have read about NWO and Neo-Cons. It is interesting, it is scary and it is strange. But, bringing it back to the beginning of the thread, the people behind the people behind the people are the people with the power. Not the President or Senators.

But I don't think Bush is as bad as Hitler.

the original nWo was much better then the black and red.

I think the real NWO is a good possibility.

This AM radio caller guy, is the perfect ass. He has no reason at all to assume that the building would tip and fall. Why wouldnt all the floors collapse on each other bringing the building straight down.

As I type this, the caller said, "Fire doesnt melt steel."

Imagine if we found…let say…1.77 metric tons of enriched uranium in Iraq.

Would that convince anyone of that being a form of WMD

How about the following:
• Found: 1,500 gallons of chemical weapons
• Found: Roadside bomb loaded with sarin gas
• Found: 1,000 radioactive materials--ideal for radioactive dirty bombs
• Found: 17 chemical warheads--some containing cyclosarin, a nerve agent five times more powerful than sarin

You can blame the Bush administration for taking these guys out though.

So, George Bush, in his first 8 months in office, used the time to set up the most elaborate conspiracy in history, killed 3000 innocent americans, convinced Bin Laden to take credit for the attacks, just so that he could get oil from Iraq? Why did he go to Afghanistan first? Why have gas prices gone up instead of down?

Worse than Ed Harris' "Philly" accent in "A History Of Violence."
