For the ’96 season I worked for the NFL.

Great to work for…I’d get tickets for many Giants, Jets, Knicks, Nets, Mets & Yankees games (even that ’96 World Series).

But the pay was Super Shitty because they know people WANT to work for them.

Although I can try I wasn’t able to pay my bills with free tickets so I left…but I digress.

That was the year that Pete Roselle died and we all had to go to the funeral.

At the church up the street on 5th Ave. Pete’s Daughter said that when she was a little girl she wanted a talking Barbie doll for Christmas.

She went on to say that her Dad was so busy that he waited till the last minute to buy one and there were no more.

He used all his resources to get one and when she opened it up on Christmas morning and pulled the string on the back the doll said:

Of course it turns out that one of the Dallas Cowboys people got Roselle a Barbie from Mexico.

Actually the Women Haters thing was more directed at the general feeling of unrest that comes over these boards and PalTalk whenever a female voice is heard on XM 202.

And I do find it a bit excessive to refer to someone as a cunt simply because they make a joke about the region you live in.
