New VW Commercial on TV

I just saw a new VW car commercial last night while watching 24 on FOX. Holy shit! A white driver, black passenger talking back and forth and all of the sudden a truck backs out into the road, BOOM. Airbags deployed and all.

I did not expect that. Pretty cool the way it turned out. I'm pretty sure they didn't film with the actors in the car...

Anyone else see it?

i like the very end of the commerical when they look at one another and start to saY "holy sh...."


on that note i also get to see plenty of real cars that are quite fucked up, if given my druthers my choice of cars i would rather be in in a wreck: Volvo, VW, mercades, bmw,that is also the order in which i fucking hate to work on them . ive gotten to the point that i wont even get involved with a volvo unless i have to, not that there not nice cars. just a mother fucker to work on and get right once they ahave been hit

I rolled a 1997 BMW 540 one and a half times while going 80mph on the highway. Not a scrach on me (except for a few small cuts from crawling over the glass covered roof and out of the shattered rear window :) ) I fucking love Germans! They killed a lot of Jews, but hey, they saved my life, I can turn the other cheek. LOL!

I now own a 2005 Volkswagen Passat, and will buy German cars from now on.

On topic- that crash in the VW commercial looked pretty realistic, but not as horrific as the one in Adaptation! I did not see that coming!

However there are not as good as the "Unpimp Your Ride" Commericals. Those cracked me up, "V Dub, Representing Deuschland." There were a few of them and I liked them a lot.

I loved my '86.5 Jetta (the first one that didn't look like a stretch-Rabbit deathmobile), but goddamn, it was the worst car I ever had in terms of the number of things that went wrong with it and what it cost to fix each of them. These days you pay through the nose just to insure a VW, so I doubt I'll be getting another one anytime soon, much as I'd like to.

There are at least two versions of the VW crash commercial. I saw another one as well.
They look pretty realistic. In HD, I slowed it down and looked frame by frame for the editing but could not overtly notice any.

t-boned. Still pretty realistic, but not as graphic as the first one.
