It was Morton Downey Jr. and it was at WrestleMania V.

The best Piper's Pit stuff is when Adorable Adrian Adonis tried to take it over with his segment "The Flower Shop."

My favorite Piper moment of all-time, though, came in WCW when Piper got Ric Flair committed to an insane asylum. It was so bad that it actually turned out to be really funny.

On the Greatest Superstars of the 80s DVD, there's a Piper's Pit from the build up to WrestleMania 2 in the DVD extras section where Piper and Orton kidnap the Haiti Kid and shave his head like Mr. T that's pretty funny.

Before Piper could interview Morton, Brother Love came out dressed as Piper and impersonated him. The real Roddy Piper came out and got rid of Brover Love along with ripping Brother Love's kilt off. After Morton blew constant smoke from his cigarrette into Piper's face during the interview, Piper put out the cigarrette (and Mr. Downey) with a fire extinguisher.
