Any chance of revising replay schedule

I, for one, am excited about the move the show is taking - but I have one reservation.

I know many people are dependent on the replay schedule for listening to the show, and the schedule I have seen is too early.

3-6 CBS replay
6-9 XM replay
9-12 XM replay (why? I'm not sure.)

At these times (3pm specifically) many people who would record the replays are still at work, so they would not be able to record the entire show.

Is there any chance of revising the schedule to be more replay-listener friendly?

These times seem to leave a lot of spare time left over, I guess this will be filled with best-of material?

Is this official? Well it fucking sucks if it is. This means for morning and afternoon rush hour..most people will be hearing the CBS version.

Here's the problem I have.

if I listen on my way to and from work for a 9-5 job, so 8-9 AM and 5-6 PM, I'm hearing the same hour of radio (I think). That kindof stinks. I'll probably record the 6-8 AM part of the show before I go to work so I can listen to that on my ride home. Not a big deal really, I hope they can do the 'replay on steroids' idea that Opie mentioned today.

9pm to 12 midnight: XM Replay


As also mentioned above, they need to re-arrange the afternoon show so we don't get the same CBS clean show on the way in to work and coming home from work. How about CBS from 3:00 to 4:30. XM from 4:30 to 7:30 and then the rest of CBS from 7:30 to 9:00pm. With all the CBS commercials, it'd be easy to cut up the clean part of the show!

If the pests can get DirecTV to put them back on, they can do this!!! C'MON!!!

Why can't the late replay be the whole damn show?

O&A Live - 6-12(ish)
R&F - 12-3
O&A XM (or "Classic O&A," or God forbid, another show!) 3-6
Entire O&A replay - 6-12
R&F replay -12-3

The replays really would be a whole lot more manageable if they chop out the commercials. "Worst of" is better than live commercials but I would rather they chop out both for the replays.

Like they said on the show yesterday, there is a good chance that they'll edit the replays to remove all the commercials/worst-of bits/filler which would help things. The 3 hours of CBS show could probably get down to 2 hours. I'd imagine they'd still want some commercials played, at least during the XM-only show replay, but I'm guessing things will change once they figure out how easy it will be do edit things after the show.

I don't like the fact that the Ron & Fez replay is 12am-3am.
Move the buddies to an earlier slot.

If they really want to keep the current schedule as is why not move Ron & Fez down to the 9pm-12am slot?
That way it would be:

O&A 6am-12pm
R&F 12pm-3pm
O&A replay 3pm-9pm
R&F replay 9pm-12am
O&A replay 12am-6am

This way even though West Coast listeners pretty much miss the 6am-9am CBS hours, they get them from 9pm-12am at the end of the day (and of course 12pm-3pm...but many are at work).

The replay schedule is what really fucks me! I get in my car at 7, listen to 8:30, work, back in car at 4:30, pick up exactly where I left off and in car till 6. I had 3 hours of show, w/ XM commercials that I could cache out with the SkiFi2. Now, I get garbage Free FM that I can get on YSP for free, and at 4:30, I get the 7:30 - 9:00 replay, an hour of which I heard in the morning! Plus, the cache runs out after 30 minutes of commercials. Now I get LESS show for my money.
Why do they need 3 hours to replay the 3 hours of CBS show? Merge it, uncut and it'd be over is less than 2, and I get fresh O&A on my ride home.

Nobody gets it. The XM people don't matter anymore. We've served our purpose. The boys are shooting for terrestial ratings, and all they need to do is fullfill their obligation from 9-11 because its a contractual obligation. Building or retaining an audience on XM is not a priority anymore. I tuned out of the terrestial show this morning after the first hour 2nd or 3rd break. The end of an era.

Simulcasting is fine, but actually broadcasting from the FM studios is just stupid.
They should have just left their show the way it was and let CBS broadcast it. Pay someone to sit

I've totally lost my interest in the show. Especially with the ridiculous replay schedule that they set up.

Same problem for me with the replay schedule. I'm in the car commuting from 8-9am and 5-6pm. It used to pick up right where I left off so I'd get a full 2 hours of the show.

Now I'm hearing the same hour and with more commercials. And NO xm show at all. This sucks. :icon_sad:

Yes I bring my XM in the house, but I have OTHER THINGS to do when I get home, like spend time with my family etc.

My whole life can't revolve around a radio show, but at least I could get 2 hours a day of O&A during my drive to and from work.

If the replay schedule stays the way it is now, I'll only be getting the same 1 hour of the CBS show to and from work, minus commercials. So that's what, 40 minutes total now at the most? That's why I am not happy with this change.

Great!!!! My morning commute is between 6-8 and my evening commute is between 4-6. I get to hear nothing but the CBS version. Oh wait, I shouldn't complain because the show will not change. Sorry.

I have zero reason to subscribe anymore.(ipod and the music I want to hear without commercials) I give it 2 weeks, if they don;t change something, I am punchin out maverick. I enjoyed BOTH shows today, but theres one problem.

For those of us who drive into work for a 9-5 or an 8-4 job, we USED to be able to shut our cars off arriving at work, and turn it back on going home, and pick up EXACTLY where we left off.

Today, I had to listen to the 7-800 hour twice...these replays have to be timed so we can listen to an entire show with an 8 hour work interruption in between.

Please look into fixing it (Im willing to bet alot of Wackbagers would be willing to sacrafice exactly an hour of commercial replays)

I'm in the same situation but I work in a data center with literally nobody around from 6 pm until 11 pm or so. I loved the 7 pm - 11 pm replay online. It made my night. Now I get 2+ hours of the show followed by the same 2+ hours. I'd rather have Ron and Fez from 9 - midnight or a replay of the CBS part of the show again or even a new show. Anything but the same thing twice! Do we really need the same half of the show back to back?

And not for nothing, but with the replay schedule the way it is, those of us who listen almost exclusively to the replays due to our commutes got only about two-and-a-half hours of programming yesterday, as opposed to the four-hour show we'd gotten for 18 months.
