As I listned to the show today, O&A were talking about what we would hear on XM during commercial breaks. Opie said the Elo needed to get some creative people in XM working on this ASAP.

Well Wackbag has some creative people, a lot of sick fucks but a few of you are creative. So what would you like to hear?

Jim Nortons "Hit the minority with a rock" was a great idea but I don't think it will fly.

I would like to hear some of the old bits from NEW and some Jim Norton/Patrice/Bill Burr/Bob Kelly comedy. Never hear it on 150

Leaving mics on would be so perfect. Think about it: They have said many times that they used to prepare to do things while on the long ass breaks back at WNEW. They haven't been able to do that at XM becuase of how much shorter a time they have.

With Free FM sized breaks, go back to fucking around, playing games, and doing show prep, but like Coffee diva said, keep the mics on.

I donno, maybe it would suck, but I would love to hear them get a bit ready and then play it out when they went back live on CBS. They could even fuck with the Free FM listeners, with XMers being in on the gag (although they could probably do that with pad data at any time as well).

I think it would more than make up for any fealings of resentment, to be able to laugh at the expense of those listening for free.

Forget that. Opie already said that CBS shot down that idea. What I don't understand is how the boys let CBS dictate anything. Being that O&A had them by the balls they could have demanded anything and CBS would of had no choice but to give them anything they want. But it seems to me that CBS got what they wanted. A FCC friendly show for 3 hours with commercials. And Xm got 2 hours of uncensored radio. Looks to me like XM and us listeners got the short end of the deal. I guess we will have to see how everything goes.

How about the boys do NO commercials. They should start the FM and XM Show at the same time, and they should do an unedited version of the show and let FM Radio edit it as they want too. And when FM goes to commercials O&A should still be on and only take there 1 minute breaks like they did before. This 5-10 minute commercials again reallly fucking suck. Wish they just stayed on XM fuck Free Radio.

They'd be live in NY, but in commercial in other places... and they'd get the NYers to go along with whatever fake thing they'd come up with... and the calls would go along. I know I am in the extreme minority here, but if they are going to have to take breaks for the first 3 hours, just run commercials when they do. This way we can get 2-3 hours of them without any breaks if the flow is good. I can't help the old clips during the commericals will get old real fast.

with the huge amount of tapes they'd probably recieve (good or bad) it would keep every break fresh

Yes. This needs to be done. Every different day of a week they could get different personalities on there. Something with a more variety show with fresh bits every day. Have the interns on some days. Have different stuff every day.

I also think that it would be really great to have whoever was sitting in on the "Tough Crowd" portion comment on what was happening on the Free FM broadcast or continue talking about the same topics that the boys were discussing on Free FM!

Live content during the Free FM breaks is a must, because it will keep everyone tied into the show while they are in breaks and maybe even catch listners up that tune in during a break.

this may have been already posted but,
during the commercials, since CBS will not allow live mikes for the xm listeners(can't believe they agreed to that) but why not have the interns or someone else from the show at the xm studio and let them comment on the show so far or just let them do what they want. Who knows, someone may become a radio star.
Another thing is i think it would be great if they still let Ron & Fez start at 11:00 and if O & A want to stay longer, then we would get the chance for an AFRO show every day, even if only for a few minutes.

There was a lot of commercial time today and these breaks will only get longer as the show gains popularity, this is what scares me.
Overall i like the show and hope the bbboys are raking in the cash and i look forward to hearing them bash the shows that talked shit about them.

I would rather hear the bathrooms miked than have to listen to the same god damn ads over and over again. As for worst ofs/WNEW bits, I think that will get old quickly. I know there is a lot of them and they could go for a long time without repeats, but it does not substitue for live audio.

I LOVE the "Wild Bill production" promos, especailly the one with Steve C. the Hostage negotiator. I was thinking maybe giving Wild Bill a continuing series that will play out during the commercial breaks. Hes a funny, talented guy and it will be cool to see something play out during commercial breaks. The Wild Bill serials.

I like having the WNEW "sands of the hour glass", but i wasnt feeling listening to them from recent XM shows. Having more obscure WNEW shows could have possibilities. Another idea I thought of is having Ron and Fez "sands of the hour glasses" just to mix it up abit. It could be good to hear a different voice going around. Any Ron & Fez classic WNEW moments they can get ahold of?

The "Friends of O&A" stand up spots can be a really good idea, XM just has to be careful not to repeat the same ones. O&A have alot of comic friends so it shouldnt be too hard keeping it fresh.

Also, id like to see more of the song parodies from WNEW making a comeback. There are alot of them i remember from the old days they never played on XM. They can play Airsick and Red Peters songs too...just some of the weird shit they played back then.
