the most fucked up part for me is the kids crying in the background, as he was trying to convince the parents that they weren't in pain

the music playing slowing down as the batteries died was also pretty eerie. I'm still looking for the 12" lp of this

it wasnt a massacre it was a mass suicide, now waco was a massacare, the people at jones town wanted to die for there god. i liked jim jones it takes balls for some one to convince people to do that

some people and children were forced to drink it, and people who didn't want were told they could leave and then were killed in the woods.

i think it's just something he made up, and that lady believed him. The best is when he says that he has someone calling Russia.

Although I'm still in the process of listening to this clip...I was checking out different sources to learn more about this fucked up day.

Wow, that was fucking disturbing.
What gets me is not just that people can be that heavily sold into something insane, but shouldn't the primal instinct to save your children kick in? Even though they believed they were in fact saving the children from a far worse sufferin, don't you still "take the chance" and save your child at the preasant and try and protect in the future? Isn't your most primal instinct to pick up your child and say "fuck this, we're out"?
