OK I've raised this question on both this and the FBA boards and all I get is crickets.

I find it very hard to believe with the amount of O&A Fans that post on both of theses boards that not one person won a book.

I know the Doc is a friend of the show and many listers are buying the book, But being someone who E-mailed within minutes of his anouncement and knowing others who did the same only to get an e-mail with an avertisment to buy the book I'm starting to think this first 75 E-mail thing was a hoax.

I emailed him while he was still on the air...moments after he said he was giving away books. I got a reply a few days later saying that my email was about "700 emails" too late. :(

I got the same response, and my mail was in within 30s of him announcing it....that I was a few hundred mails too late and then an advertisement for the book. I did just go buy it anyway, it was cheap...but yeah it seems a little fishy.

I emailed him seconds after he made the offer and did not get the book either. no big deal I bought it, but I wondered how did that many people beat me to the punch.

Because I keep hearing the story you see in all of these other posts. And I dont appreceate the Idea of O&A guests taking advantage of the fans. If he wants to promote the book he should just promote it, But making up a bait and switch just to get hits on his site is Fucked up.

Mind you my beef is with the Doc. not O&A. they don't have anything to do with this.

Same response and yeah literally 1 min after he said it on show I sent it in, I call shenanigans. Was interested in the 6 meals per day thing and how it worked

To be fair, the guy probably got a ton of emails, and there's a chance that the 75 he picked weren't people who post here or FBA.. (or at least didn't see this thread)

I never heard of the Doc or his book and I received TWO free copies in the mail.
