Rocky 4 for me... i liked the whole usa/soviet union thing... the music during the montages was fantastic. plus i was 6 when the fucking thing came out.

Yeah, part 3... It did have the gayest scene ever! By the beach when Rocky finally wins the race against Apollo. "Yeah" as they run into the ocean embracing, clapping their hands, and then embracing again. What benevolent gayness...

Despite the complete cheesy-ness, Rocky IV is my personal favorite. The original is untouchable. II and III rock also... V shouldnt even exist.

i have to say, there's something about IV that gets me amped every time i watch it. sure, it probably set the record for the most montages in a single film, but nothing gets you fired up more than Rocky training in Siberia and beating the shit outta Drago in the end.

is it wrong if i used to play the soundtrack as i did my boxing training? the music fucking rocked. i recall being in the Paltalk room and Dugout Doug played one of the songs on mic, and i had panicked for a second because i thought that someone had somehow managed to hack into my iTunes or something. :icon_lol:

It's such a tough call between 3 and 4.

III is great because Thunderlips takes him on in the showdown of the ultimate male vs. the ultimate meatball.

But Rocky single handedly ending the Cold War in IV...that's tough to top.

I voted for the first one. Its got the best fight out of all them. Especially when after the bell rings in the opening round and Rocky comes out and knocks Apollo Creed on his ass. Plus the score during the fight is very powerful.

The first four were all great because of different reasons:

1st-Best written movie

2nd-Most inspirational (what kid didn't hold his breath hoping Rocky got up before Creed did?)

3rd-One of the best villains ever, "Clubber Lang" and my personal favorite.

4th-Best fight scenes of the entire series.

The 5th was absolute shit. Too much story (which was horribly written) with lame villains (led by a horribly portrayed version of Don King) with a uninspiring ending fight (acted by a boxer with a horrible T-cell count) that was not even in a boxing ring. Weak.

Numero uno for me. Mr T and Drago in 3 & 4 were hilarious, but the orignal was actually a good movie. I'm really hoping they make sequels devloping the lives the the turtles, Cuff and Link.
