I'd like to see them do something picking on the news. Have a montage of phony reporters talking about a terrible new virus threatening the area. Something like:

Reporter 1 - 'Coming up on the news'
Reporter 2 - 'A new virus invades the city'
Reporter 3 - 'What can we do to prepare ourselves?'
Reporter 2 - 'Residents have been advised to put on their laughing hats'
Reporter 1 - 'How will the virus affect your children?'

Alrighty folks just an idea.
Since that cunt Ellen has been in almost every XM national Ad Id like to see this happen.
Ellen walking from room to room asking if anyone has seen Opie and Anthony. The usual suspects in the commercial (snoop, Bowie, Dillon, etc.)
She finally gets to this old looking beat up door. She says maybe in here. It opens creaking sound and she says "Opie and Anthony you are here"
Visual of studio- Op with full blown face shot. Ant looking over his left shoulder with his hat of course, and Im picturing Jimmy not sitting on a chair but kind of on one knee with his head tilted looking around the chair with a very disturbing look.
And since Op gets the full shot he respond " Jesus, we've been here for two years already"

Music- THE OPIE AND ANTHONY SHOW.

I hope I explained enough visually. I truly thinkl this is a commercial XM could run with.

That would be a good sweeper but I don't think it would bring in new listeners. Only regular listeners are going to understand the humor.

yeah something that sounds like a news tease would be great. since the whole purpose of a new tease is to get peoples attention, why not trick them into thinking its the news but it's really an ad for O&A. (yeah i know i just stated the obvious)

Any add paid for by CBS will have no references to XM, and it shouldn’t. XM’s promotion of the boy’s sucks ass.

I think the best theme for their add would be something along the lines of “after four years we’re back”
Gotta have the quote from the Catholic league.

Do TV ads really work? Everyone I know that has the virus, caught it by word of mouth.
