I was just watching "Attack of the Show" on G4 (nerd-channel) and they had the producer of the Mancow show and some high-up guy from XM duking it out over who's bigger, O&A or Mancow.

The producer for Mancow kept saying his show is the hottest show in radio now and how satellite will fail.

The XM dude was like, "Oh yeah, Mancow's in market number 3 and O&A are in NYC."

Please I hope someone taped this, cause it's FUCKIN AWESOME AUDIO.

The Mancow producer also said that Mancow was 30 years YOUNGER than Stern is, so his show will come out on top with younger listeners and not O&A. (30 years huh?)

The XM guy was pissed off and was yelling. God it was great.

When they talked about the XM Roady 2, they mentioned that "you don't get Stern, but you do get Opie and Anthony".

This is the way it should be. Now if only XM marketing can understand this.


on a side note, Sirus had a big hunking wooden clock radio/unit; how...um...dumb.

My kids watch that show and I just happen to be in the room when it was on,that kicked ass !!!! I agree G4 is horrid, besides destroying screensavers, which I was slightly interesting in, including icons, which I can't find anymore, they made E3 unwatchable with their fake wanna be hip white folks. i was in the SF bay area when mancow was on the air there (right before moving to chicago). he's a fucking tool; he was the moron who stopped traffic on the bay bridge (the only bridge between oakland and san francisco) for a haircut.

as i recall, he didn't even get a "promotion" to go to chicago; while chicago is a bigger market than the bay area (#3 to #5, i think) the story was that the company made the move at his request because he wanted to be close to his sick father or some other thing like that. he wasn't even #1 in the bay area.
