I would love that for R&F's sake but I feel like its an O&A or 202 related announcement. Before someone accuses me of bitching about O&A shitting on R&F again I say this. I see the two shows as having 2 separate agendas. O&A want to rule the radio world and I'm all for that. I think its a great show and wish more people heard it. R&F seem pretty content to sit back and do their kind of show. If they get syndicated then great, if not, as long as they are happy then so am I.

Personally I hope its more shows on 202 like Lazlow and Patrice but that will probably put me in the minority. I know most here want a second channel. I'd rather see a full 202 first, but that's because I listen to the show at my leisure via MP3s if I miss it during the day so replays don't matter to me like they do to others.

Adding XM203 would cost money for talent. If you look at the current financial situation with the company you know that they are not spending money. I believe they question if Ron and Fez have added any subs and feel that other talent of this level does not provide a return. We hate him, but talent like Hoo Hoo added subs. Oprah will add subs. Lazlow, Patrice, Cowhead and others will not add subs. They only provide additional pleasure for those with subs.

XM is at a crossroads and current Management knows that they need to spend their money wisely.

Im kind of agreeing with this theory as well. Adding channel 203 probably wouldn't cost xm much money at all, in fact it will probably be paid for by cbs syndication monies and it won't use up that much bandwidth either.

I have no problem with don and mike being on xm just so long as 202 is for OnA and replays and 203 is for ron & fez, don & mike and other new talent (lazlow).

Adding Don and Mike is not only retarded, it's stupid. Ant dismissed 203 in a post (plus e-lo has said in the past that XM's bandwidth is allowed a certin number of channels. They would have to get rid of one to put up a new one). But nothing says you can't get rid of 202 and move it to 55-60.

That's what's fun. Mixing it up and grabbing new listeners searching the dial. They even talked about XM hiding them on 202 last week.

Going over the tape it seems Opie said 'The Show' is ready to make a 'cool announcement'. Opie said "It's a real announcement and it's pretty cool" Then Ant said 'it will be a lot of fun' And Opie agreed and said it is definitely cool.

I don't know if there was any mention of it being announced on XM. And it was also mentioned that it wasn't about adding stations.

I doubt it would be about XM spending money since they have a bunch of lawsuits because of their spendthrift ways in Q4 2005. And E-Lo mentioned he wasn't opening his purse strings until the end of June.(the end of Q2).

So if it is a softball game it will have to take place after July. So if it has to do something with XM it wouldn't be about money.

2) A road trip to Canada sometime in July.

3) A TV show of some kind. Not an E! type show, but an animated show. just kidding about the animated part, but they have pitched a show in the past.

I am going with the comedy tour. With Tourgasm's success, it shows it can be done (and be VERY lucrative!). It's great promo for the show and the comics. Plus, everyone gets paid. Kind of a thank you to the comics who stuck by the show the past 19 months or so.

I would love that for R&F's sake but I feel like its an O&A or 202 related announcement. Before someone accuses me of bitching about O&A shitting on R&F again I say this. I see the two shows as having 2 separate agendas. O&A want to rule the radio world and I'm all for that. I think its a great show and wish more people heard it. R&F seem pretty content to sit back and do their kind of show. If they get syndicated then great, if not, as long as they are happy then so am I.

Personally I hope its more shows on 202 like Lazlow and Patrice but that will probably put me in the minority. I know most here want a second channel. I'd rather see a full 202 first, but that's because I listen to the show at my leisure via MP3s if I miss it during the day so replays don't matter to me like they do to others.
