I haven't heard that in a long time. That was just a tease. I don't think
there has ben any extensive audio of Spuds put out there.

After hearing last monday's show I'm hoping Opie was just kidding because he did say that Spud's Buckley audio was in the basement when it got flooded.

I've heard tapes of the "Opie Show" where he's just doing normal intros and stuff for songs and how people should send their stuff in to be played. Yuuuck.
Part of me thinks he tossed them, but then again he knows great radio and that would be great radio

Spuds Buckley audio exists, even if Opie's copies were "lost" in the great flood of 06. Here's an email I got a few months ago, i won't post who sent it so he doesn't get bombarded with requests but it's legit.

"I do believe I have some tape of "Spuds Buckley". The problem is I'm not
sure where it is. I am hoping to move in the next few months so as I start
getting ready for that I will keep my eyes open for it. I'm just starting to hit
the basement and I know there are several boxes of tapes. When I find it I
might have to Fuck with Opie a little bit.Leave him a few messages with
clips of Spuds. Now Opie is an old friend of mine so if were to release it
it would have to be through him."

It's out there.. somewhere.

The persons name was posted here before. I think he did get bombarded with requests too. There is some Buffalo airchecks out there. I've seen them.

I've never heard Spuds buckley but if I had to geuss I would imagine that he sounds a lot like Opie during his "LIttle Fresca the dog" story.
