I now know why they call it COMMERCIAL radio.
We get those bonus bits (dig deeper who ever is in charge over there) that is a good 6 minutes, then like 6 one minute promos. Fast forwarding seems to take forever.
The people listening in those cities on FREE FM are getting the shit end of the stick, or anyone without an XM2GO :icon_eek: .
Im not bitching since i dont hear them, its just insane!

yeah but if you don't have satelite radio and realize how good it can be, you just accept you are going to get commericals.

It is nice to turn on the clock radio early in the morn and also use the bathroom radio to hear them in the morning. Another benefit is that when you have kids, it is much cooler to have the terrestrial version going.

I wouldn't think of listening on the radio. I record it on my Inno, no commercials that way!

I'm a fancy man who has a fancy FM transmitter on his XM home dock so he can hear fancy XM on his clock radio and in the shower.
It's a beautiful thing.

How far does the transmitter go?
Does your 80 year old neighbor enjoy O&A as well?

I'll listen in on 92.3 Free FM when I forget my XM unit at home. Yeah, the commercials do suck, but OnA with a shitload of commercials is better than anything else on air.

Yeah I do the same thing if I don't have an XM unit with me at that time

there are times that I listen to 92.3 in the morniing, especially on rainy days when my satellite signal sucks cunt. But it only makes me realise how much i LOVE XM, because you get so much more.
If I didn't already have it, I swear this deal would have made me sign up for it.

I also have the myfi that allows this fancy man to broadcast O and A to any sterio in my little home. I would never listen to the fm version because I can't.

Same with me. I live in Atlanta and they do not broadcast it here. I really have no option but to listen to XM. I hate all the FM stations here anyway, all they do it talk and never play music.

I have the option in West Palm, but I always listen on XM. I think the clarity is much better and the small bits during the breaks are great.

I only have a 10 minute drive to work and I use the XM to listen.

Honestly I have not listened to regular radio since I got XM in 2004. I'm curious if our not listening on FM is going to hurt their ratings.
With my MyFI I get the signal everywhere in my house including my yard.

I listen on XM all day, but have turned alot of people on to the show here in Columbus because of the FM thing. I think that the people listening on XM tend to turn other people that don't have XM on to the show, and a bulk of those people will just stick with FM, so I don't think that us listening on XM will hurt ratings enough to matter.

I listen to them on WBCN in the morning getting ready and when I drive (10 minutes) to work, but when I come home at night, I listen to the replay on the Xm Party Rock station.
I do prefer the Xm broadcast, but it is just easier for me to leave the Xm unit in the house attached to the stereo.
By the way, MORE RON AND FEZ!!!!!!!

On the rare occasions that I have to be up early enough to catch the CBS show live I set my alarm clock to 92.3 and listen to the show for a few minutes while snoozing/getting up.
The rest of the time its XM all the way. If I'm checking my email I listen online to the XM feed and check in on Paltalk too. Otherwise I almost always listen in the car on my Roady2 to the "walk" and bits and pieces of the show throughout the day. In fact the only days I get to hear the whole show is Thursdays and Fridays and again that's mostly either on my Roady2 on the way home from work in the car, or on the online feed when I get out of the car. The rest of the week the kids are home in the morning and its not cool to listen to with the lil ones around.

I listen to the show for an hour on Xm in my car. And when I get to the job site if the reception is clear I can hear the rest on 92.3 free fm.
Its a real treat.
