Actually it holds 25,000. This is gonna be insanity. I've always wanted there to be a sort of big festival comedy event and the fact that O&A have their names on it and lil' Jimmy is headlining is almost a dream come true. Watch the fun ensue in Camden with 25,000 drunken racists. :icon_bigg I wonder if this will be a one shot thing, or a "traveling" type tour.

Awesome. It would be even better if they did a show closer to me in northern Jersey but Camden is no big deal. It's a much better venue than the PNC and it's such a scenic drive getting there. ROLL EM UP!!

Camden is the murder capital but there isn't too much to worry about go to the riverfront. If your going to be staying in Philly, just take the PATCO high speedline. It dumps you off right on Broadstreet about a mile from the Tweeter Center. It's not a horrendous neighborhood around there. That is where Rutger's Camden is.

Third vote here for a Rochester/Buffalo Show.
Darian Lake Performing Arts Center would make a lot of sense, as would Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial, or how about the Rochester Broadway Theater League's Rochester Auditorium Center?
Let me think, I'm sure I can throw out 4 or 5 more ridiculously convolutedly named arenas that would make sense up this way.

Camden is the murder capital 2 yrs running but its not that bad. All the murders are in the swoogie sections, from drug dealers and gangs killing each other, plus the innocent bystanders(5 yr old girls, grandmothers, etc.). The Tweeter center is on the waterfront near Campbells Field, the Aquarium and Rutgers University. Its actually a nice area. i've been going to concerts and shit there since '96, and the most problem you'll have is trying not to get in a fight with a bunch drunk idiots.

I'm sure it will. It would be insane if this was planned without that.

yeah i was wondering why Joe Rogan wasn't on the line up. he's more of a friend of the show than mencia.
He might be added on later....
I doubt they'll get Dane Cook.....it'd be cool to get him to do one of the dates.
How about Billy Connoley?

Hmmm...believe it or not we're mulling driving up to the Worcester show, it's only about 4 hours away. The other weekends we have conflicts but I REALLY REALLY want to see the show.
Anyone familiar with the area the arena is at? I'm checking it out on Google Earth...there are some hotels nearby and a bunch of tall buildings that look alike. Could be office towers, could be condos, could be da projects. Anyone know what the area is like?

Lots of random buildings since its a city. Drove around a few times while down there and some parts seem to be sketchy, when I was around the arena it didn't seem too bad. There are a number of hotels in the area since its near Holy Cross and the connecting of the Mass Pike and 290. Hopefully someone more familiar can help you out.
I'm pissed that the two shows that I would be able to attend I have pre-existing commitments on. The only two Saturdays that I have booked up are the two that they have the shows on. Oh well, Vegas and my 10 year high school reunion are important to me. If I really get desparate I willl make the journey down to Philly. But I think this idea will take off and I will be able to catch them again in the future.

To O&A: I think he would be the most wanted to add. Especially to Boston, as Boston has 7 guys, where as Camden has 10. If you guys could get him to do just a couple shows, that'd be amazing.
Oh and Dane Cook would kick ass too of course. I could care less about 16 year olds going, for a) they'll then be subjected to seeing Jim Norton's act, which may change their lives, and b) I may be able to hook up with someone.
(And it shouldn't be a worry anyway, as all the O&A fans will buy tickets this weekend, and if they add anyone else, it'll probably be after we get tickets.)

No mention of MSG .... can you imagine selling out MSG??? Dice did it by himself twice! And I'm no fan of Dice but with the right advertizing, MSG could be sold out for several nights. This would require CBS and XM advertizing this for weeks in advance. With the line up suggested, it shouldn't be a problem and as it grows I bet that O&A will have to beat off comics with a stick!

Trying to remember.. I think it was from downloading a Norton clip off the net thinking it was his stand-up then finding out it was a radio interview. Found clips of Brian Regan and Patrice on the same show then started listening everyday. Absolutely hooked.
I was looking forward to goin to each individuals shows but now that its all wrapped up in one awesome show, even better.
I wonder what the chances are of getting a look in the XM studio if its one of the main reasons I'm travelling 20 hours on a plane.

I know they said they were going to add more dates if the pre-sales are good.... but seriously.... does that mean Long Island, Upper Manhatten, Midtown, Lower Manhattan, North-South-East-and West Jersey, Upstate NY, downstate NY.... and every little block in between? Seriously, if you East Coast people can't hop a train to get to these awesome shows, how big a fan are you?
Tour should be New York, Jersey, Philly, Boston, Florida, Dallas, Cleveland/Columbus OH, Phoenix, and SACRAMENTO (possibly someplace closer to the Bay Area to draw that crowd too)! Basically all the places they were/are syndicated in ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
I thought spread the virus meant outside of a 4 hour radius of New York?

i can't get any lawn seats for the camden show. sold our already?
I called ticketmaster, they said there is only one lawn seat left, it's all soldout. The lawn holds thousands of people, so they might be releasing more tickets, but now i'm worried that they won't, and I'll miss out altogether.

are there even lawn seats available for the PNC show? Ive been looking but cant find anything. WTF? I cant afford $125 A ticket.

The only tickets I can get are sec 303 or 403, according to the seating chart the rows available are behind the sound stage. I've never been to PNC so I'm not sure if it blocks the view or whatever, does anyone have any idea? Sucky seats are better then no seats but I want to see what I'm in for..
Thanks
No the sound stage is not elevated or anything so you will be fine. I have seats in section 403 and I am fine with it.
is there gonna be age restrictions? If so, exactly what are they?
IDK for any other venue but with PNC there most likely won't be but with PNC I know they will probably have bracelets for people over 21 to buy alcohol and then everyone else can come in.

Why are your tickets 125$ a piece? Mine were like 35 dollars a piece.

I find it sooo hard to believe that lawns are sold out at the Tweeter. The lawn at the Tweeter is HUUUGE, seats more than the entire rest of the venue combined. They must be holding more lawn tix for later release.
Anyway, that being said, we didn't feel like risking that, so we decided to pony up the extra $20/ticket for section 202 seats. We can always go to the lawn if we want to, but at least this way we're hedged in case it rains.

I managed to get seats in section 403 at PNC. Not as close as I would have liked, but Im happy that my girl and I will have actual seats and not have to stand on the lawn all fuckin night. Also, section 403 faces directly at the stage, so that's definitely a plus. Either way I cant fuckin wait for this show ! Aug. 26th cant come soon enough !!

I was gonna go with the cheaper seats but since I'm taking my brother in law with me I went with the highest ones. 159 bucks is a bit steep but the entertainment value is SO there. In the end I know it's gonna be a bargain.

There shouldnt be a problem with you getting in if your 17. But i would call the tweeter and check to see if the event itself has any age restrictions. But i wouldnt think they would cause all the women at the concession stands are pretty good at carding for alcohol.

If you are with someone over 18 i wouldnt worry about it. I took my nephews to see Rush there a few years back and they were like 13 and 15 at the time and they got in no problem. if you are going by yourself...just meet up with a bunch of wackbaggers here (tailgate party) and im sure you will get in no problem
im goin so if you want to meet up you can walk in with me and my wife.....well then again..how old are you again?? hudala hudala might just have to give you a tussel!! :P
