Then we can do the following:
Set up leaders from the area you are coming from and get those leaders together via phone and email.

Then we can break up for the show.

The DCU Center stinks. I wish they could have gotten it somewhere else, (the Tweeter Center maybe?). I remember having some of the higher up seats there for wresting back in the day and couldn't hear a damn thing and couldn't see much either with the ceiling or whatever at an angle and blocking my view.
Shitty arena and all, though, I really wanna go to this thing. Don't want to bring the girlfriend with all the animals being there and can't find anyone else interested...

Hate to be a buzzkill, but if you arent familiar with the DCU center, its in downtown Worcester. There are parking garages right across the street that charge 20 bucks for event parking. So there really isnt much of a place to do some tailgating. Perhaps some bar hopping? The Tweeter Center would have been great. A great big festival like gathering.

Someone else mentioned it, but there is a large 99 within walking distance on East Central Street, right near the hospital. Brew City is a pretty long walk, Irish Times is pretty much right across the street and might be the best bet as it isn't really as much of a "family establishment" as the 9's.

Ya, the 99 sounds cool, but theres another fucking problem, I am hearing complaints like why are they having it at the DCU center and not at the tweeter center, or in Hartford or in Providence, Stop it all ready, they would consider it IF the DCU center was sold out but they are not even close yet, Whats the fucking problem, is it that the Old Centrum is too far? Give me a fucking break, I dont buy that for an excuse plus there is pleanty of time to hook up a ride if you dont have one yet.

The DCU center does suck, has always sucked, because Worcester sucks. It would be great if it was in another venue so we could do some tailgating, but the show will be great regardless. I think the complaining is less about the travel and more about not having anywhere to hang before the show.
Think about this fucking show! These are all headliners and you're getting to see them all in one night. I'm psyched.

There is a large parking garage directly across from the DCU center, as well as many parking lots (mostly on the side streets behind the venue) that will do for tailgating. The Worcester police have always been very leinient when it comes to hanging in the parking lots before and after shows.
By the way, Worcester isn't nearly as bad as you make it sound, it's what you make of it. It's got it's nice areas as well as its ghetto areas, just like most cities its size.

OK Boston Pest and O&A Fans alike, time to take some action. WBCN is doing a good job so far on there end with all the promos on there radio station. But some people still dont know that O&A are back on WBCN and the only way to do that is Outside of the radio station like Bill Boards, Bus signs, or even TV adds. The problem is is that Bill Boards and stuff like that are very expensive and to just advertise the show out in Man Town isn't econimical and its a little too late to start a campain for the show. there is however something the pest can do, and let me make this very clear, DO NOT ATTACK WBCN. Look for my thread on this subject in the near future . More people that know that O&A are back the more people will buy tickets to the show

Nope, the show will go on. and you dont have to drink to read a message board.
Sonny, any inside word on where the ticket sales stand? BCN seems to be promoting harder lately -- I'm curious if it's having any impact.

"COPS" The TV show started taping in Worcester this week, I have been told they will be in town at least two to three weeks riding along with the Worcester PD. Any PESTS wanna be on TV? I'm sure they will be looking for some good footage.

If there's an arrest at the Traveling Virus show that makes it onto Cops that would be the ultimate.

My husband and I are driving down on the 5th from Saco, Maine. We are sitting in section 106! Is there a main hotel that the O&A fans are staying at the night of the fifth?! We don't know anything about Worcester.

My wife and I will be traveling from RI for the show. Staying at a hotel 2 miles away and using cabs to go back and forth (no drinking and driving.. eh, er).
Following that up with a trip to NYC to attend the CBS to XM walkover.
O&A all the way....that's what Kenny says.

I'm glad they're selling more tickets now. But if I had known they'd be offering tix for 10 bucks I might not have been so eager to shell out $65 per. Oh well. Still worth the money, I just wish that more people had bought earlier so they wouldn't have to resort to this.
I'm going to be so SO drunk...
i just bought my tickets today...

Worcester has plenty of heroin. So there's that.
Also acid if you know where to look.
I'm seeing the show with a buddy of mine and we're thinking about getting a room so we don't have to drive home. If anyone else is considering this, please remember to say "No homo" at check-in to receive the discounted room rate.

Sitting in Section 102.
Debating strenuously on whether I should bring my wife with the extra ticket or not.
Looking forward to returning again to scenic downtown Wustah. Crack whores for everyone!

Can you drink in the lots/garages up there? I only know of one bar at the top of the hill across from the Palladium.

The Crowne Plaza is about a five minute walk to the Centrum...DCU center...whatever.
The municipal parking lot is between the Crowne Plaza and DCU center and right across the street from Irish Times. There should be plenty of room for the pests at the Irish Times since they have three floors.
My seats are Sec. 1, Row N, seats 1 & 2. If anybody cares.

Can't wait for Saget. Saw him at the Comedy Connection in Bos this spring. Absolutely the hardest I've laughed in my life. Saw Billy Burr at Caroline's in NYC over the winter. He's decent on O&A, but his act is top notch. He's a local boy like Patrice (is it okay to call him boy?)

So it sounds like everyone is meeting at the Irish Times, is that right? Anyone?

The promos talk about a massage booth and a petting zoo. A PETTING ZOO?!
They also have a sound effect of a girl saying "WOW". I think these means we may be getting a exhibition of The Topless. That could go really well, or it could descend into T&A for O&A territory. God, I hope it's the latter.

I just want to go wherever The Topless is.

I think the consenus is that we are all meeting at the Irish Times before the show and then heading over. For anyone interested, there are many pay to park lots in the area and the WPD has been very understanding about "pre-gaming" in these lots before events...See ya tommorow!!! Can't wait!!!

I got floor 2, row C. So that's like right in the front-center? :D
