I saw this topic on the NYRMB but one of the posters said that is an old link from 2000 when Ferell did his syndicated night show.

I though that too, at first... but, that's one hell of a long time not to take a host off a web site. Everything else seems current. Usually when you find this stuff burried deep in a site, you can't get to it from the homepage.

Anyway, it would be nice if it were true. I was really digging good 'ol Scotty boy.

INCORRECT. He was syndicated on Infinty stations. This is a clear channel station

This looks like an old link. if you go to www.archive.org and put in the stations website youll see that ferrel was on that station in 2001 so it looks like its an old link. Ferrel was syndicated by westwood one which is owned by Infinity. Infinity stations usually get first crack at picking up a westwood one show in any market but if all infinity stations pass then any other company can sign the show so that explains why its a clear channel station.

I am from cinci and now live in columbus oh. my brother listens to 1360 and said he is on there. It is a great sports talk station, but cinci is soooo fn conservitive so it is hard to belive

Here's the e-mail I got back from the PD:


We used to carry Scott Ferrell when he was syndicated. He is no longer available through syndication, so we don't carry him. Our lineup page hasn't been updated in over a year which is why he is still listed. Sorry for the confusion.
