I"ve been listening to the show a lot, and I kinda want to check everquest or world of warcraft out. my desktop is basically a piece of shit to run it....so if anyone out there can give me the specs on what things i should have in my computer. Like video cards, speakers, monitors...even the brand of computer I should get.
thanks guys

I've been checking them out this past week and seem pretty reasonably priced. Depending on what my pc total comes to, I might end up going with them cause it'd save my lazy ass some time...

building your own isn't hard. read the instructions on the mobo. and for wow you don't need an insane machine to run it.

I have AMD 1.39 ghz processor and 640 MB Ram on my computer. And a dogshit video card to top it off. I run WoW..... well.... fine enough to play. I normally play really late at night though so it helps out a little.

Just shoot me a pm if you want help configuring the build. I assume you don't need an amazing machine, but rather want the most bang for your buck.
I would say for video card you can go with an Nvidia 6600 or higher, and for processor an amd 3800+. It all depends on your budget and how much you want, but I'd say you could get a decent one for under $800 easily.

I broke my Everquest addiction years ago. Unfortunately, I'm now hooked on WoW.

I just restarted WoW after 6 months. It's nice to have my 43 Warlock waiting and ready to go...

Yes, don't start a mmorpg if you like games. You won't have any time for anything else. If it wasn't for the developers totally fucking up Star Wars Galaxies, I might still be playing that pointless game.
