**See This Page With Full Graphics, Pictures and Color!** CLICK HERE --> : I'm thinking Mohr takes over for the next few months till O & A come back.
If it's already been mentioned in a reply under a seperate topic, I apologize.
The rumor that O & A are off the air for six months could be an opportunity for Mohr to hold down the fort for the time being.
I'm guessing Mohr could draw at least half of the O & A regular listeners as well as some fringe listeners that love him from the big screen and Regis.
If he can draw half of the audience, the station would still be bringing in some serious dollars until the guys come back.
Makes sense to me - as long as O & A are really coming back to WNEW.

I personally don't think they are coming back to WNEW and I don't really believe the whole Jay Mohr thing. The papers have been wrong about EVERYTHING dealing with O & A.
I agree with you, Spew - I just think if there is a remedy for the sitaution, Mohr is the only one of the 'inner circle' that could do a bang up job of hosting a show. Jay's a talented guy, with a great reputation in show business - execs like him because he does a great job of being 'the all-american guy'; we like him because he has the same deranged sense of humor as the rest of us.
I'd love to hear "Frenchy, Live" from 3-7, not sure that's going to happen. I could listen to him saying "Get in a coffin and diiiiiiiiiie" for 20 hours a week, easy.

I think that O & A and Infinity are seriously trying to work out an agreement to end their contract. I think that's why O & A won't say a word. Jay Mohr for 4 hours I think would get a little tired, just like when he kept coming in day after day with O & A he got played out. Same with too much Frenchie. But hey maybe a 'Jay and Frenchie Show' would work lol.

I like Jay Mohr, I think it was cool the way he stuck up for O&A after they got cancelled but a radio show from him doesn't get me excited - I WANT O & A!!!!

Frenchy said that too. He got it from Otto and George, and said it.

Frenchy never said anything original except for 'I surrender'. Oh wait...actually I think that was handed down generation to generation!

I like Mohr, but I think infinity would benefit better from Jim Breuer. I would listen 24/7 to breuer!!!

I don't think Jay is going to be available. Looks like he's on to his next project.

Actually, if you were O&A, would you try and negotiate out of it? Hell no! No matter what happens with the FCC and/or the legal system, in the end, the Management of the station SUPPORTED this contest! Therefore, O&A did nothing wrong and if Infinity is trying to pay them pennies on the dollar, I would sure as hell tell them to go F themselves. If you want me off your payroll, you're paying me the WHOLE THING and dropping whatever non-compete is in place. I think O&A have all the power here.
GO O&A!!!
