I just went last night and it was pretty fucking sweet. Doors opened at 2pm :icon_eek: , but I showed up around 5 or so. Long ass show, left around 11pm when As I lay dying blew the sound system (at least from what we could tell), don't know if they got it back up and running.
It was my frist time seeing Gwar and it was everything I expected hilarious stage show. Converge was pretty good, never heard of them before.
In Flames was good but it didnt' sound that great, something with the setup cause my friend said they sounded alot better at ozzfest.
Best performances I thought were Trivium even though it was a short set, they covered Master of Puppets and the place went beserk.
As I lay dying was the headliner and they played the crowd really well and had a amazing stage presence. Good time if anyone gets a chance to go.

Oh yeah props to the guy wearing the O&A XM shirt, almost forgot. Also talking around with some people I guess mon-thursday poughkeepsie has a 11pm noise ordinance so I guess that would explain why everything cutout, they might've started things up again, gotta ask around if anyone stayed.

I was given free tickets by the VWA staff when I went to the Ozzfest last week. Looks like I got a Sunday to chill out and check out GWAR again. The rest of the bands are hardly worth checking out.

yeah I know but considering its rare that I would get to see a concert on my work scheduale and it was a whole bunch at once it was a decent experience. It was inside too so it was nice and cool and the beer was slightly cooler then room temp so all and all it was alright.

cool when i went last year , in Jersey it had to be one of the hottest days of the summer, just hours and hours of sweating, sunburn, bands i didnt know, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
