The finally sent me the email for the advanced tickets, just go to the website for KROCK cleveland and sign up for the advanced info for the travelling virus and they will send you an email from live nation. I'm making the treck up for C-Bus, I paid $25 for Norton alone so getting all of those great comics for $65 is a bargain, hopefully they will add a couple more people, hopefully Ralphie May and Otto and George!

BTW, there's a reason that CLEVELAND was picked to be the first out of town stop for the Virus to infect. Lets make some noise and let the Boys know that Cleveland dont fuck around!!! Na its not as bad as Michigan. :) I say we meet before and after at Coopers Town. You can eat there and theres a great bar. After there its a small walk to any of the other spots i pointed out on the map above. Its a great time. The Tribe is gona be out of town at the time so that area wont be too monkey like. ding ding. Check my last post with map. Only one thing, the venue is kinda by itself. Transportation is a must unless you enjoy walking. I dont see payn for parking 2 times but it sure is a lot easier. The Coopers Town thing sounds pretty cool. Its kinda far from the Gardens though. Is there a hotel closer, or cool places near the hotel? Or, what might the limo plan actually cost? Driving to and from the Ampitheater is not what I want to do considering the planned alcohol consumption for the chick and I. And it certainly looks like a helluva walk from the Garden to the Tower or the Bar strip.
Is there a pregnant chick comin that we can force to drive us all? Then afterward Free Abortions!

Oh, and when are we finalizing a Hotel for the Cleveland Pests? Chick and I got a room for $100 using the Hilton's website, but if we need to cancel it and switch hotels its no big deal, it would just be cool to know which one.

When we got to the final page, it had some stuff about parking. We couldn't tell if it was included or not (we are hoping for yes), but it said self-parking: $15. So good news if it is, worst case $15 parking and it seems like its not going to get too much cheaper than that in the city. Prolly allows for leaving and coming back (but shouldn't matter cuz I don't plan on driving too much once we are there so we can hit the booze bottle).

How many people are getting a Hotel? I have noticed like 4 of us or so, but are there enough of us to cause a stink and get us a deal? I assume Norton is getting a few people to IM him, so people that are getting a room should continue to IM him so that he knows how many people are coming in from out of town.

Yea but Bob said he can't come cuz he has to spend Rasha Shana or some other crazy jewishness with his Dad cuz I think he's not feelin all that well. But Opie told him he should at least send some kind of video to the Cleveland show, and he agreed. Hopefully it really happens. But we def need some more funny men to make us laugh.

I'm in at the Hilton, and would rather we tailgate so it's a simple stumble inside the building at showtime rather than trying to make our way from the bar to the show.

Just my opinion though, I'll be down for whatever. Anyone else planning on showing up at KROCK for the show on Friday morning? I remember Opie saying that they'll be doing the live broadcast thing like they did in Boston.

And yeah, someone should call the show tomorrow and find out about Valby or Colin or any of the others they hinted at adding to the show. Hell, I'd be really happy if they added Bonnie at this point.

I know a bunch of us are in at the Hilton, and I thinkkkk parking is included in the room price (it may be $15 extra, couldn't tell from the dumb confirmation). It would probably be cheaper to tailgate, but doesnt that mean we would have to pay for parking at the venue instead of bussing/cabbing from the bar/hotel? And then wouldn't we all have cars that we have to drive from the dumb venue? Dont know bout all you, but I expect intoxication and I don't really wanna drive any more than I have to. So i guess I am voting for hittin the bar.

CSK almost ripped my head off and shit down my neck. LIL Jimmy was in town here and some female opened for him. I didn't laugh one time for her and i was throwing my 2 cents in along with everyone else. He picked me out of the lineup and grabbed a chair slammed it down behind me. His hand grabbed my shoulder and all i heard was a CSK type voice say, "were not gona have any trouble are we?" . I turned around to see this huge ass fella talking to me, i told him that i was adding to everyone else's thoughts and apoligized. (what did you expect, im not a bad ass and he's fuckin huge!) He would have taken my big ass down like i pushed Ben Sparks during a walk over. At the end of the night i apoligized one more time, after buying a shirt and 2 cd's. He said no problem man, its cool. Shook my hand and i went on to clean the rest of the shit out of my pants. :lamer:

Or maybe somebody new that wasnt on the bill for the others....
They said with it being the last show of the year, they want it to be special....

i say CARLIN! haha

Sagat would definitly be cool, but Bobby called in a couple of weeks ago and said he couldn't come cuz of some Rasha Shama ding dong of a jewish holiday he has to spend with his dad. "THE OIL BURNED FOR SEVEN DAYS!!!!" Did it? Blow that crap off and come make me laugh Bob
I will be a sad kid if the last one they add is Mencia. Valby might be fun. I don't really know too much, but having him come out on the piano and screamin crazy ass songs to end the show might be pretty fun. I would really like to see the boys make Jay Mohr come out (not sure if he ever did stand-up, but something tells me he could make us laugh) or Pot-Lollipop himself, Joe Rogan. He falls into the right category of awful and hiliarious comics. I am sure he doesn't need the cash thanks to Fear Factor, but he could do it out of the goodness of his heart?

NortonN will probably know better, but I think it is a decent walk from the Hilton to Cooperstown, and a decent hike from Cooperstown to the venue. Have we found out if busses/taxis are going to be taking us? Cuz I am expecting lots of booze, and I would prefer to not have to drive that way. Maybe lil jimmy can come be our DDs with his non-drinkin ass.

I just got of the phone with the parking lot company. There not going to allow us to have any kind of tailgate party. Its some kind of corprate liability thing or some crap. Ill contact the show and see what they can do if anything. It dosen't look good folks. DAMNIT, DAMNIT, DAMNIT!!!! Im still working on things though. There are quite a few bars around and if you folks want i can contact one and let em know where coming there before the show to try for some cheaper drinks. Maybe the bar plan is the better plan. Specially if you get some competition going between the bars knowing that all of us will go to one place. One of them might throw us a bone. Maybe Club Soda can help throw the shows weight around to make a bar play along.

Any confirmation from a Cleveland local as to the address of the K-Rock studio? I think it's

1041 Huron Road
Cleveland, Ohio 44115

but I just figured I'd be safe not sorry when I'm arriving into town at 5am.

Also, it seems like the show would be able to get us the permission to tailgate, since all of these venues are owned by the same company, and I know they said that CSK negotiated to have an earlier opening for one of the previous shows. I'll call the show at 6 since I'm up then anyway, and try to help get something done. It really seems like the tailgating has been half the fun at the previous shows, with even the comics themselves making appearances.

I'm going to stop at the Duty Free and pick up a fine case of Canadian beer to share. This case of beer will probably not last long, then I will have to choke down some Pabst or something. I mapquested everything and this is the breakdown in distance

Hotal (Hilton Garden Inn) to Cooperstown Bar .2 miles
Cooperstown Bar to Tower City 1.22 miles
Tower City to Hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) 1.52 miles

I know we pests aren't the most athletic group but that certainly is walking distance or stumbling distance if need be, or a very cheap cab ride at the very least. Has there been talk of where to go after the show? The flats are pretty shady these days, E. 9th is a better area fyi.

Im driving down to CoopersTown and then to the Venue. Ill have room for a few in my rig. The venue is down by the river. (estimating) Its about 50 - 100 ft below the rest of the city, that being said the walk to the venue may be an issue. Think Cab, or who ever is driving post such and we all can meet at CoopersTown and drive you all down. Its a matter of minutes away. Yea, that's what I was saying. If literally all of the show are o n a fans and want to be part of the full festivities, we are in some trouble. But if we are just trying to accomodate maybe 50-100? of us from the message boards that want to get together and do some pre-partyin a bar (or two) should be able to deal with us. Someone mentioned this earlier, but I thought I'd repeat it for anyone planning on staying in Cleveland after the show.

The closest Hotel is the Hilton Garden Inn. I think rooms are $111 a night. If you use Hotwire.com you can get a discounted room there for $56 a night. You don't have to sign up for an account at Hotwire or anything. Just search the site for a Hotel using Tower City Amphitheatre's address and you'll see the $56 rate. It won't tell you the Hotel name, it comes up as a 3-star hotel .2-1 mile from the venue.

It's a great way to save cash.

OK, I am not going as I am in New York. But I was cruising ebay!, and looked at one of my favorite sellers. He has tickets in Section 2 row J. That is first section from the stage, dead center, row 10! I have bought from this guy before, he is legit. Just make sure you pay him before the end of the day auction ends. 6AM TO 11AM LIVE SHOW AT KROCK-- CAN SOMEONE POST THE ADDRESS?
AFTER THE SHOW, YOU ALL CAN FIND SOMEPLACE NEARBY TO GO AND HANG. WISH I COULD JOIN YOU BUT I WILL BE ON THE ROAD FROM 7:30AM TO ABOUT 3:30 PM.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Meet between 8pm and 9pm at Panini's : 840 Huron Road Welcome to Panini's Grill. We are no longer just the home of the famous overstuffed late night sandwich... Today Panini's establishments feature big screen TV's, satellite dishes, live music, dancing, happy hour specials, outdoor patios, expanded menus and microbrew beer selections.

From there, we can hit the Boneyard Beer Garden, that wings place, and lots of other bars. This was by majority opinion of people who live in Cleveland, and is also easy for visitors. So please don't bitch, and please everyone come out. What makes this fun is meeting all of you!!!!!!!

SATURDAY DAY: We're going to Cooperstown!!!!! 2217 E 9th St. I'm planning to be there with the Jandrea's EARLY. Like 12:30 early. And hang till about 4:30, then go over to the venue to check out the village. See you all there.

SATURDAY EVENING: THE SHOW!!!!

AFTER SHOW SATURDAY: Hard Rock Cafe. Okay its a dull place, but we'll be getting out of the show between 11 and 12, and for the two hours we'll have before things close, it just doesn't make sense to travel far. HRC is RIGHT IN THE TOWER CITY CENTER. So see you all there!!!!!! AND NOTHING IS DULL IF WE'RE ALL HANGING TOGETHER!!!

Did I get this all right???

I have one extra ticket that I may have to give away because I wasn't able to find a 3rd person to go as of yet. Its not guarenteed, but if someone on here is willing to go, I'll sell them the ticket, and probably cheap. It's either row R or T in the middle (too lazy to check the tickets)

Just got back from Cleveland today. It was a great time. I saw lots of people that I recognized from here, but I felt like an ass just walking up to people I didn't know.

My wife and I did hang out with a few people from here. Goatass, and his brother in law. We also met a couple from Michigan that stayed in the same hotel, and they were very nice as well. Also we walked from the show to the Hard Rock with some guy that was pretty cool as well. Met NortonNFriends briefly, but he was pretty tied up with everyone, so I didn't wanna bother him to much.

The show itself was amazing. Well all but the Bill Burr incident. I was really dissapointed that we didn't get to see Burr do his set.

The Boys and Jimmy were alll great after the show. Patrice and Jimmy both managed to really embarrass my wife. She doesn't take compliments well, and Patrice was complimenting her. Then Jimmy called her a sexy girl, and said she had nice nips right when she was taking the picture of us together. I have never seen her get that embarrassed.

The only person I didn't meet, and get my picture with was Vos, which I felt like an ass afterwards. He was sitting between Patrice and Ant, and I guess I got kind of star struck talking to Patrice and Ant, and I completely ignored Vos. I really like Vos, and wanted to get my pic with him.

Hopefully next year they will come close again.

No telling what kind of "special sauce" you got on that pizza! Not pictured was the rest of the shit dick rodeo that was circling around us the whole time we were there.

Odd (and lucky i guess) - no one has brought this 'event' up on the show...

I was there, yep that was me, I was the black chick. :hi2: To all those I met at Cooperstown, the show, HRC and some bar/pizza place afterwards then back to the Hilton Garden, even if it was a short intro, it was a pleasure. The show rocked, hopefully get to do it again next year.

Paul was great. I really enjoyed meeting him.

He really was. I hung out with him, erock, keith the cop, happy typing girl, norton N friends, and pat from moonachie in pauls hotel room. He kept telling me to jump out the window. I felt it was in a loving way though.

Really cool fucking people though, everybody that I met. Thank you, we have to do it again sometime.

Damn, did you all go elsewhere after the Hard Rock? I should have stuck around, and tried to weasel my way along.

This image was the highlight for me. I couldn't stay to meet the boys, so I did the next best thing and got a pic with Pat (with Paul inserting himself in the middle). Pat was a really cool guy and had a much more pleasant odor than I expected. Paul was a cool dude too. He was walking into the bathroom when I was walking out. I was going to talk to him but his lil English legs were really moving so I assumed he wasn't wearing his diaper and didn't have the time. Anyway, thanks Pat and Paul. Wish I could have fagged it up with you two afterwards.

Here is my crowd shot:

And here is Opie and the other guy during FPF

It wasn't a wrong turn so much as it was the only fucking place in the city that was open and serving alcohol! I can't believe everything shut down at 1am. At least I had my girlfriend with us so we didn't look like total fags.

Funny. Well done sir. Those tools that left ya at the hotel kinda pissed me off. At least drop a brother off before heading to the hotel.
