Valby shoutout last night

Hey all, I saw John Valby last night at Governers
in Levittown, L.I.

Great show, he sung one for O&A about the whole
debacle that went down, ending w/ something like;

"Get O&A back on the air soon!"

I was like "my thoughts exactly!", hopefully we'll
be hearing something relatively soon b/c the
afternoon drive isn't the same at all for me (and
I'm sure all of you guys) anymore....really sucks :(

Thought it was great show, from the little I can
remember. :confused:

Everyone should go see Valby at least once. He is definately an eqal opportunity offender. He cooks on that piano too.

Dr. Dirty rules. I remember seeing him at that dinner place off rt.35 in Jersey years ago. He got a bunch of girls to go on stage to moon. One of the chicks dropped trow and had a huge blood stain on her panties with a bloody string hanging out of her clam. When JV saw it he stopped playing and laughed his ass off .Then the entire crowd pelted the chick with those little creamer things you get with your coffee.
Totally has nothing to do with O&A but it's a Valby memory.

The old Club Bene is the place you're talking about right? Hoo Hoo used to do his shows there too.. BTW it is now called Krome, and is a "Black" club.. Opening night there was a shoot out, and the cops are there almost every night.. the hotel in the back is now Welfare housing (no joke) it's sad..

Club Bene was a cool place to go see "retired main stream bands". You couldn't get a seat farther than 40 feet from the stage. I used to go see Jackie Martling there all the time. Although not a big hoohoo fan, I really loved Jackies live shows, he is the guy that catalogued every bar joke you ever heard and spits them out non stop for two hours or better. Krome is now a teen club, as they lost their liquor license. I see the kids lined up outside waiting to get in. If my daughter was 15 and wore clothes like I see there, I would eat a bullet. God bless you guys with teenage girls, it must be rough.

DARM!!Club Bene!!First time I was there I was with my sis, her best friend and my best friend.We all got the chicken parm.We ordered drinks.Buy the time we got our check we could only leave a $2.00 tip.The bill was at least $95.00.That place was expensive!Food sucked to.We saw David Brenner.He was pretty funny.Always wonder what happened to that place.I saw Valby in a bar/restuarant I think either in Lavalette or Ortley.He was great!The show didn't do him justice.
