Is there some new version of soundgarden out?

being i grew up in the 90s and was grunge-man back in the day i'd like to think i have all their albums and heard all their stuff but the other day on squizz i heard a song labeled soundgarden (forgot song title) but i didnt recognize it. more confusing is squizz plays new stuff rather than 90's stuff like fred and lucy, and the singer didnt sound like it was chris cornell who, lets face it, has a pretty distinct voice. there were alot of Fucks thrown in the song which i like but the song was terrible. is it possible that soundgarden is trying to do new stuff without cornell or did squizz just borrow derek for a day so their pad data could get screwed up?
