Sunday I saw the blank spot on their website so I sent rocko a nasty email just to see if his account was still active, I did not get a email back but his 3rd co-host in 3 years Mike Brangiforte said that he is NO longer with the company. He was released on Friday but was it a "he quit and they fired him" or was he just let go.

That fat bastard was getting too cocky saying he liked the competition when O&A where against him but now Nik Carter(WBCN's 3-7 DJ) just plain ol' sucks.

Anyways, O&A back in Boston??

(AP) - Rocko Moving to Larger Market

We have learned that raunchy, and famously unpredictable shock-jock DJ "Rocko" (who was recently let go from WAAF in Boston) will be taking over the afternoon spot in NY on WNEW.
"It's too bad that Opie and Anthony are no longer on the air..." said Rocko, "...YEAH RIGHT, THAT'S A GOOD ONE! I'M SO FUNNY."

This will be the second time WNEW has hired a former WAAF shock-jock or shock-jock team. Reports from WNEW indicate they intend to "...re-work the Rocko show with the ultimate goal to syndicate across the country," said current WNEW program director Andy Schuon. "We intend to kick off Rocko's new show here at WNEW with a contest called the 'Large Bucket Challenge', where female contestants will be locked in large buckets for the entire show, while Rocko and crew dump yucky stuff on them, and broadcast their reaction on the air. We think this is one of our more original contest ideas." Rocko's airdate has yet to be determined.

Phone calls to Opie and Anthony for comment were unreturned.
