Wow, it's going to be at the shitty congress theatre here.
That's a terribly small venue for so many bands. It'd be god awful there.
But holy shit thats a line-up.

I dunno, it looks like an ozzfest type lineup, I was all into last years Gigantour, and I am gonna definately go to this one, but still, i just hope it dont go the way of ozzfest.

this is so much better than that awful shit at ozzfest. i'm looking forward to lamb of god, megadeth, arch enemy, and overkill. i can do without opeth, i think they are overrated i just don't get it. but i can't wait to go

Hm. I would've figured Fear Factory would put on a good show.

Anyhow, Opeth could be cool. I've seen Megadeth before, and they have no stage presence whatsoever. Kinda sad when Jackyl and Creed stole the show from them.

Though, Pine Knob is a great place for a show like this.

I am planning on going to this show. I went last year and loved it. Megadeth is probably my most favorite band and have no problem watching them over again. Overkill is another band I would like to check out on this tour, all the other bands, meh, I can hang out and go walk around or whatnot. But im sure more bands are to come. Still though, its is a 100x better choice than Ozzfest.

dillinger were actually pretty bad, i just put them in with the bands that were there, but dream theater were godly and megadeth finished the night off perfectly, and earlier symphony X were amazing, nevermore i couldnt really hear cuz they were on the mainstage and it was early so there sound sucked, but if you ever see nevermore live in a good venue it could be the best live experience \m/

Actually the show I went to wasn't to huge. Probably 2000 people there, I didn't mind it at all, but normally I prefer the intimacy of a club.

Im with you with Dream Theater and Megadeth. And a band i discovered from the tour was Symphony X. Holy Shit, that was something i had never heard live before. It was a total stimulation shock from their sound, a whole lot of shit to process, It was a great band live.

Their music did nothing for me, and the "stage presence" he tried to put on just annoyed/disgusted me. He was acting like some teenager in his first band trying to force a "hardcore" image, to me he was just like 3 seconds from screaming "Hey Im cool, look at me"
Then there was Life of Agony, who also sucked ass. I saw two stops on the Gigantour tour, i saw them in Poughkeepsie and in Jones Beach, at Poughkeepsie it was just disgusting, they were so bad that a large group out of the crowd was booing them, and the singer came face to face with one guy and spit on him. Security pulled him away cuz the crows was gonna tear him up.
