Where is the village going to be at the DCU Center? Since it's just an arena without a large parking lot they can use I can't figure out where it's gonna be.

I am pissed because I bought tickets at full price and now they are reduced because they couldn't fill seats. That is bullshit and thats the second time BCN did that to me. The last time was the very last BCN River Rave.

Upper deck, section DD rows 2-4 seats 14-16 in each row.

I agree 100% on that one. My girl and I spent $75 a ticket after ticket master charges. Granted, we're on the floor, but we would have taken a $60 discount and sat in the upper deck if we had known this bullshit was gonna happen.

Right! I mean its like you get rewarded for slacking off and not buying tickets. The situation I had with their last River Rave was that ticket sales were Abysmal, mind you I already spent 46 dollars for lawn seats at Tweeter Center, but then since they realized they weren't going to fill the place (and we all know you can't sell 10 dollar beers when no one is there to buy em) and basically ran a promo where if you called in the day of the giveaway, as long as you got through and spoke to someone, you got in. Whatever though, it'll be a great show regardless.

It's not like that. That's exactly what it is. I had to make the decision as to whether it was worth $65 for me to see this show from the floor before they went on sale, and my gorl did, too. We decided to spend the money. Now there are gonna be people that only spent $10 sitting in sections with people that spent $65 and way closer than people that spent $35. That's just not right. To treat concert tickets like clearance items at Wal Mart isn't fair to those of us that bought them for the original price.

At this point they're just cutting their losses, and the hardcore fans are the ones that got fucked. I can't blame them, since selling 1000 tickets at $10 each is better than selling 0 tickets at $65 each.

All that being said, I'll be there laughing my ass off and enjoying every minute of it. :icon_wink

I got tickets the second day they went on sale and at that time I got 'best available' thinking that place was going to sell a shitload...now i'm not even sure my seats are that good anyway...$300 for 4 tickets...ugh

I didn't get tickets until a couple of weeks ago and I paid $25 for ones that are up in the balcony somewhere. When I went to the Norton/Attell show at the Orpheum, people said the seats up in the balcony sucked and that you could barely hear the comedians. I'm wondering if that will hold true for this place.

If my seat isn't in the front row of whatever section or an aisle seat, I probably won't even go to my seats, but just get hammered and paruse around the complex doing whatever the hell it is I do and catch Bob Saget from entrance ways further down. (He's the only comic I haven't seen live)

i've got a question of my own for the DCU show: what's the minimum age to get in? i'm 19 and have tickets, and will be pissed if i get turned down at the gate. before i got the tix i looked all over this forum, and the O&A site, at ticketmaster...all with no info. any word on this situation?

18 plus should be fine. It's probably like a regular event.

Why does Boston have such a low turnout for events?

Why does Boston have such a low turnout for events?

Well this isn't really Boston.....

If it were actually in Boston I might not have jumped on the tickets so quickly. I'm a lazy ass and live just north of Worcester so it was an easy decision.
I'm sure there are lazy asses in and around the Boston area that feel the same way about Worcester shows as I do about Boston shows.

Why does Boston have such a low turnout for events?

Because it's not really Boston at all as people have said. I'm coming from Albany, NY though, so it's actually closer for me.

It seems like PNC is getting a decent turn out, and it's a good 45 minutes outside NYC. Sounds like the same type of deal as Boston. It just seems odd that the fans in one of their major markets aren't turning out. And it's a great line up.

A friend of mine went to Clark U in "Wustah" and when we went to visit, I don't recall Boston being so far away that it would make it difficult to get out to the DCU from Boston propper, let alone the suburbs. That was many years ago, so perhaps my memory is clouded.

No, it isn't really that bad. On a good day you could make it in about an hour maybe less depending on traffic. Meanwhile there are people willing to drive many hours to come to the show. Now I feel even more like a lazy ass! If that's even possible. I think it will take me 15 minutes at the most to get there.

So has any one figured out where the village is going to be, when it is going to open, and what we are going to be able to do there.

Hartford's closer to Worcester than Boston is... and from Boston it's a straight shot down the pike.

So does the comedy portion of the Tour start at 7? meaning that the village will be open around 4-5?
