Just listened to yesterday's show on the MyFi and see that Belle & Sebastian took a beating.

The life persuit is a good album...you have to take it for what it is, retro sounding 60's brit-pop

any band that has to cancel a show because thier cello player is sick is just not for me. the song 'the blues are still blue' plays in my starbucks and me and the girl i was working with were completely amazed it was them though.

I'm not a super-fan of theirs, but the song O&A played on the air just happened to be my favorite Belle&Sebastian song, so it was painful to hear the boys bash it without really giving it a chance. Not that it would matter, since softer pop music isn't really O&A's preference to begin with.

I like their music. It is pretty mellow, indie stuff, not for everyone, but I have greatly varying tastes in music.
