Allegedly, according to a post on the good doctors board by Brother Wease, who is/was Opies radio mentor and Weekend program on WNEW:

"...I'm bummed. BTW, Opie will be on Randalls Island with me in the morning, but of course, NOT on the air. that I suppose is forbidden"

If this is true it would be the first "sighting" that I've heard about.

NEW BLOWS!!!I e-mailed Wease a few months ago and said "Why don't you have Opie use his super powers at NEW and try to get his show on the air".He told me to e-mail Opie and ask him.NEW has f'en balls.It's fine to have him on Saturdays, but not let him broadcast live for 1 friggin' day????:mad:

Z100 was actually in Die Hard 3. But the studios were from WNEW.
