Who else loved Mousetrap Trivia?

This bit was so great just because almost everything got fucked up. The contestants were dummies, the questions were too hard, they were written down in a half-assed way, one of the contestants barely felt pain, etc.

Unfortunately (or is that fortunately) this bit probably wouldn't work again. It's like the first Debbie Downer bit from SNL, when everybody cracked up during the skit and made it ten times funnier than it would have been originally. If they fixed everything that went wrong, it wouldn't be as funny. If they intentionally fucked it up to relive the magic, it would come off as fake.

Anyway, O&A, it was a great bit, whether you knew it or not.

Amongst other things that fucked up, at one point when I actually knew an answer to a question, the mousetrap wouldn't trigger. I had to hit it half a dozen times until it snapped.

I think the video shows this happening to one of the other contestants answering that Warren Z. is a singer, as well.

As the OP said, I loved the bit, but I think only because it was such a mess. The questions from the 1970s were just great. If they re did it with 'normal' questions, i think it would've stunk

I thought one of the funniest parts was when things were going so wrong with people not answering. Kenny comes in and asks, "Okay...what day is it today" and all you hear are a bunch of mouse traps going off.

Since I can't post a new thread let me tell you this. Mousetrap trivia was an amusing fifteen minutes followed by a gassy fizzle.

Here's what really stinks. That fucking Squizz Family Values horseshit promo. Who wrote that drivel? It's probably the worst most unfunny promo ever. And to think Steve C, the master of the terrible and sorry would contribute his silky baritone voice to it is frankly disturbing.

Why would I blow my nose in my brothers napkin? Why would I? He doesn't live in the same house. Why would I ask my sister if she found out who the father was? Why would I? Why would we all be living in the same house? Am I fucking chinese? Do we all live in the same house? Do we?

Please stop it. Its awful and terrible and sorry.

I think that post was somewhat mild. I suppose it would have been more accurate to say "I'm more intelligent for NOT knowing that trivial retarded bullshit" but I decided to take a different route.

It's like if you happened to know a lot of tips on how to get cum stains off your shirt collars you wouldn't necessarily be more intelligent than anyone else, just a flaming queer. Understand?
