Did it take her 2 1/2 days to figure out that Hoo-Hoo doesn't care about helping her out and that it's all about him. Will she call into the show again? Whats up?
For those of you in Boston, remember back in late '99/early '00 when the boys made up with Disco Nik Carter. That lasted only two years after the boys show was cancelled, Nik Carter wrote a leter saying that getting O&A back on the air was "bullshit" and at the O&A rally one month later in September at WBCN studios, Discoboy saw me through the glass holding a sign that said "Save O&A" and he just walked up to the glass and flipped me the bird. I said come one out Discoboy. He put his head down and walked away!
So we'll see where this goes. Hope to see ya'll at WBCN tomorrow and DCU Center Saturday!:action-sm

For some reason, I remember Nik Carter being at the CBS portion of the CBS/XM show when it first started. He wasn't really advertised, but Opie kept on mentioning him. Did they make up again? Or was there never really another split?

I dunno what the status of their relationship is right now, but I'm pretty sure that both parties have some sort of mutual respect for one another. I'm pretty sure that there isn't that much bad blood since O&A did go to Discoboy's Dad's funeral a while back. From my own personal incounter with Disco Douche four years ago, I think that he is two faced. However if I told the boys about my encounter at the show tomorrow they would probably dismiss it as a lie and overall not care. So, I have my reasons but if they can make up then that's fine...
BTW, I think that Disco Douche is doing ads for Sirius now that he's out of a job at 'BCN.

I say yes too...her show stinks but what she did today was THE way to play that situation...even the boys would never do something like that to defuse a situation if they had to...I was just really impressed...hopefully her shit show gets some positive pest calls tomorrow

When she gets cancelled in 3 months she can come in and hang sometimes. She is obviously still kinda funny and not having Clearchannel's muzzle on she may make a good guest.

It was great that Whoopi came in I was very impressed. However, her show still sucks. I'm guessing since E-Lo was lurking you might see Whoopi on that chick channel take five. So the answer is yes she is a friend of the show and a pest target at the same time. The physical confrontation story was a little disturbing. That sounds like the path to the boys being on CB instead of CBS.

thats crazy that they are friends now.
On a side note, minutes before the Opie And Anthony show go on air at Free FM, you hear a cool music intro. Does anyone know where i can hear that online?

Ha one thing that shouldn't get lost is Norton being verbally car crashed by Whoopi. When talking about Oprah, he's like "you know her, you (two) were in the Color Purple" and she says "that was 20 years ago!" SCRRRRRCH.

Not a friend, just an acquaintance. Just like everyone else on XM. ;)

I'd say she's a friend now! I am flabberghasted that she came on and now don't think as less of her as I did!

I know that on WYSP in Philly, Right before 6:00 am They play Ecstacy of the Gold from "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly". That little bit of musical goodness used to open the show before the CBS deal. O&A stopped playing it because they wanted to give us more radio, but I think that the Free-FM stations were going to continue to play it right before the show opened
As for where to get it online, I would like that, but alas I can't find it, then again I haven't really looked

I think they will have her back on again. She certainly is not an enemy. Perhaps she is on the way to being a friend of the show.. not quite there yet.

She'd be the most famous friend of the show yet, and she sounded great just doing the hang. It's like she immediately got the XM show vibe. I hope she is.

I vote thumbs up for her to be a probationary friend. After all, the Pest "hello" wasn't because she did anything against the boys.
I'd cut her some slack, even if the show sucks. She explained pretty well that:
- Her show was for a different audience,
- What she does 'for others' is going to different than her own stuff.
So she's putting out the product that she's getting paid for. Nothing wrong with that.
We'll see if she makes up for the hoo-hoo reference. Showing up on the show, and being cool with the boys is a pretty good start.
