Kenny had to put in perspective his position in the village vs the comedians on the main stage, and basically if he was going to be a hassle he wasn't needed... I like Twichels, and I've always enjoyed his spots on the show. He is absolutely a one-trick pony though, and up until recently it seemed he understood that and in fact chose to make a career out of it.

My feeling is that Twitchells read more into the situation than what was there. He really thought someone would physically hurt him in the Zoo.
I also see his side of being a Stand-up Comedian; he has had some television success and does bit parts for movies and stuff. He simply wants the same respect one would give to say, Patrice or Bill Burr on the same level.
I have to give him credit. It takes guts to have a disability like his that interferes with communication and all, and to have a measure of success in winning jobs on television and the media. Most everyone who auditions for these things never get a job and he succeeds in getting jobs. He has a determination and a driving ambition that most of us cannot hold a candle to.
And he never backs down or allows the disability to prevent him from going after these ambitions. He does it anyway.
As for me, I had fun in the petting zoo, and nobody got hurt in the process. If Twitchels could have been able to lighten up a bit, he would have been able to see the fun in it instead of taking it as seriously as he did. But he took it the wrong way. He would have had a great time if he had stayed. He has to get his feelings straightened out before he is able to see a harmless bit in the way it was intended: we're just there to have fun and provide an interesting highlight for the O and A Village. It was cute being fed candy corn and throwing hay at each other like the silly people we were.
In the meantime, ease up on Twitchells; he is really an okay person! Dodn't be hard on him, please.

I also see his side of being a Stand-up Comedian; he has had some television success and does bit parts for movies and stuff. He simply wants the same respect one would give to say, Patrice or Bill Burr on the same level.
I have to give him credit. It takes guts to have a disability like his that interferes with communication and all, and to have a measure of success in winning jobs on television and the media. Most everyone who auditions for these things never get a job and he succeeds in getting jobs. He has a determination and a driving ambition that most of us cannot hold a candle to.
And he never backs down or allows the disability to prevent him from going after these ambitions. He does it anyway.
As for me, I had fun in the petting zoo, and nobody got hurt in the process. If Twitchels could have been able to lighten up a bit, he would have been able to see the fun in it instead of taking it as seriously as he did. But he took it the wrong way. He would have had a great time if he had stayed. He has to get his feelings straightened out before he is able to see a harmless bit in the way it was intended: we're just there to have fun and provide an interesting highlight for the O and A Village. It was cute being fed candy corn and throwing hay at each other like the silly people we were.
In the meantime, ease up on Twitchells; he is really an okay person! Dodn't be hard on him, please.

Let's also see things through Ken's eyes for a moment. The pressure can get to someone at times, and when things get in the way, one reacts because of pressure and it isn't necessarily personal either.
Ken has a job to do; he has to keep appointments and itineraries straight, he has to be available as an escort to the Show members, he has to arrange travel times and arrangements and keep a couple dozen people straight with their agendas and schedules, he has to get security clearance for everyone involved and moniter whos backstage, who belongs where, keep paperwork straight,etc,etc,etc! It is alot of work to put together a Show like the Virus shownand it is not an easy job. He has alot on his mind, so he isn't necesarilly being obnoxious, he just wants to do his job and not have things get in the way. Plus if mistakes are made in the process, he has to answer to them as well. So he wants things to run as smoothly as possible.
Give Ken a break too. Not everyone can do the type of work that he does!

If he played his comedy straight and happened to have Tourette's I'd say he's trying to overcome it, but he doesn't play it straight he uses his disabilities as props. If Twitchels didn't have Tourette's or OCD, would he have ever become a recurring character or even been on the show in the first place? I think that's a pretty obvious NO. It's hard to say he's overcoming a disability when the disability is the only reason for his success (in the current context).

I've only interacted with Kenny once, and he was a perfect gentleman. But I was polite to him and Jimmy, was respectful of their time, and didn't act like a giant douchebag. When you are a security guard, you have to treat every approaching fan as if they are a threat. If he's an asshole to you it's probably because you are being 'a problem' in some way. I agree. I met Kenny at the Homeless Shopping Spree last year and there were close to 150 people in our group. He wasn't a meathead or on some power trip to anybody. Sounds to me like Twitchles thought more of himself and Kenny gave him a dose of reality.
