The myfi i have used for over 1.5 years no longer receives a charge when it is in the home dock but it will when it's in the car. I know you are all fancy people and have innos but i was hoping someone could help. Has anyone else had these problems? What did you do about it? Could it be the battery? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If it still charges in the car then it's probably not the battery.
Could be your power converter or the dock itself.

I agree about the battery.

I guess you should make sure you have it firmly seated in the home cradle. The power converters are pretty cheap so you could try that as a trouble-shooting. Myradiostore.com sells 'em pretty cheap but you can probably get one at radio shack.

I think you can eliminate the cradle and see if the power supply will charge the MYFI. I think you can plug it into the bottom of the unit. It should still charge that way and you can see if it is the power supply.

I bought a new cradle and power supply for using my MYFI at work. (Already had the antenna) Even if it is the cradle, the price on both are pretty good.

thanks a lot. I've tried plugging the power source directly into the Myfi and it will not charge. i've also tried takign the home dock out to the car and plugging it in there. it still won't charge. so i think it's not an issue with the cradle or the power supply. it's most likely an issue with the myfi itself. i wonder if the connections on the bottom of the unit are bad or if the battery is fucked.

check your power supely, or even change the outlet that you plug it into. ive had antenna problems with mine, the tampon antenna plug broke, and the car charger came appart. check that your home dock hasent broke. if you use it alot maby you broke a soder joint in the home base

I had the same problem. Called Delphi and got the runaround and was pretty much told it would cost more to fix it than to buy a new one. Call Ziggy at MyRadioStore and ask for the MyFi lite. It's just the receiver without any of the connections you already have and it's only $99.00.

Not really a problem here but a question...

I always wanted to get the MyFi and just got some extra spending cash. It seems as though the MyFi is being discontinued. Is this a sign that I should get the Tao or Airware instead or do you think I'm still ok to get the MyFi? Inno out of my range.

Thanks...
