Hey guys, me and a couple of friends want to go on a fun little trip before summer ends and back to school.

we aren't 21 yet, all of us are 20. so we are figuring on going to montreal. we pretty much want to do some drinking, bang some whores, go to a casino, hang out in clubs.

any thoughts on montreal? people who have been there?

any advice is greatly appreciated

EDIT: my passport expired 4 months ago in April, FUCK!

I'm pretty sure you don't need a passport to get into Canada dude.

I don't think you need passports for Canada travel yet... I know that goes into effect soon though. I didn't need a passport to go to the Bahamas.

I've always wanted to see Montreal, but my fiancee says it's a bunch of snotty frogs...

Good luck, bro.

Im like 99 percent positive both ages are 18 but dont quote me on that. You need ID but Im not sure if they let Americans play by the same rules as citizens or if you need to be the US age 21 before doing either. Good luck man, have fun.

Go to Harlem. Don't wear a condom during the prostitution part and you have the gambling part covered.

ok i wanted to enlist the help of my fellow wackbaggers:

1) i have no current passport (it expired 4 months ago)
2) i have no government id (no drivers, no permit) the only form of id i have is my school id, but that doesn't have my DOB.

i ordered a copy of my birth certificate online, and they said 3-5 days of PROCESSING TIME. i'm really fucking sweating this out right now. hopefully my birth certificate comes by saturday, if not holy shit...

but if my birth certificate does come in, do they accept college id as photo id when entering canada?????????

and when i'm in canada, i'll have no proof of age, and i look young even though i'll be 20. would they accept that i'm probably over 18 with my school id? should i carry around my expired passport as backup? my credit card??

thanks in advance guys

edit:
i just contacted the:
Consulate General of Canada
1251 Avenue of the Americas
New York, NY 10020-1175

Telephone: 212-596-1628

and they said all i need is a certified birth certificate and my school id would be ok for photo id. and that it would qualify for over 18 id, which i don't believe at all. i doubt a strip club would let me in with just a college id with no DOB...

My friend is a bouncer at a bar in Plattsburgh, aka Montreal's favorite suburb. Some kid had his DOB and a student ID, and despite the small hassle, those can get you in to almost any place.

You're probably fine in Canada. One of my kids went there a few
years ago when he was 20 and never caught shit from anyone and
he had no passport either. He did have his state issued birth certificate.

they dont accept photocopies of birth certificates right? i was arguing with my friend about this. i think he only has a photocopy, it's just really old. but the real one has a seal and everything doesnt it?

I have a friend that who was legal but had no valid ID in any form that would get him into the bar. So we had to try to sneak someone who was 21 into a bar because they didn't have ID. Needless to say it didn't work and he got thrown out of the bar. We wound up giving him cab fare home.

When are you planning on going?? Unless you want to stay off the grid, look into getting a non-drivers license issued by your state DMV. Its a state ID that looks like a drivers license but just says NON-DRIVER plastered somewhere on it. The thing is that I don't know how long it will take you to get it though.

You won't get into Canada without some sort of government-issued ID. Birth certificate plus an issued-photo ID, or a passport I'm pretty sure...
