I used wiffleball bats to whack lightning bugs when i was lil.. they go pooof like a mini light show.

their also killer for launching bottle rocket at your friends. just cut the end off n you can aim that sucker pretty good.

When I was younger I wacked some kid in the leg real hard with a whiffle ball bat. But I didn't know he just got stitches on the leg, so it made it even better.
