They couldnt put a black actor in cause he would have talked the entire movie and you wouldnt have been able to hear the dialogue.

I don't even see color. I know he's black because the article says he is. I had no idea he was supposed to be black or white because I don't see color.

They didn't use a black actor because he assumed since it was a scary movie he would be alive for 5 minutes and it wasn't worth his time. Everyone knows it's the black guy who goes first.
