Fuck Packing

So me and Mrs. Hairygrundle are moving to a better area and we started to pack this weekend.

Holy fuck...I forgot how much crap we had. I made 3 trips to the dump and have some charity coming to haul off some furniture.

But fuck this packing!! I wish I had some fancy job that had a relocation package and supplied packing beaners or maybe midgets. That would be cool...packing midgets. They would hide in a box and pop out...

that happened to me, my sister and brother in law were moving, because he got a job a General Electric....so they asked me to help, and i spent the entire day doing a cheap move. I spent at least 10 hours loading stuff onto a truck...it sucked

then i talked to my parents on the phone and they said 'oh, that was nice of you....your brother-in-law refused GE's help during the move.' turns out, GE pays moving fees, with the truck, moving people, etc...i was so fucking pissed. Someone was willing to pay for your move and you said 'i want to save the company money!?!?!?!?!?' GE is the biggest fucking company in the world...UGGG FUCK YOU

When I moved I splurged and paid for a moving company, and for them to pack me. In advance, I did get rid of some books, threw out a lot of stuff, and donated even more. I had the moving company pack me, because I'm fancy, and it took 2 guys half a day. I think with tips and the add'l fee to hold my stuff overnight (the sellers had trouble with their moving truck, and weren't out in time), it was around $3k. It was the best money ever spent.

my brother did that to me once, about 15 years ago. He was moving for a new job with GM. About ten years later he laughed and admitted that he kept a "moving allowance" they gave him without sharing it with me. We even used my truck and trailer and he argued about how much gas money he owed me in the end.

I just moved last month. I thought hey we're throwing a ton of shit out it shouldn't be that bad. Goddamnit, it took us a total of 10 hours not to mention the days before when I started bringing boxes over there by themselves. I fucking hate moving, packing, and unpacking. We've been in our new place over a month and I am still not completely unpacked. Whenever I look at those boxes I just get disgusted. I am praying that this is the place that my girl and I will be in until we get a house. The worst part is every time I sign a fucking lease its in the fucking summer so of course thats one of the worst times to move.

NGL, just leave the boxes. If you don't touch the stuff in a year, throw it out. You obviously don't need it. :)
